We had a four-night reservation at Efteling, booked directly through their official website. The entire cost was paid upfront via credit card. Due to unexpected health issues, we contacted Efteling by phone prior to our trip to inform them that we would not be able to visit. The representative assured us that they would get back to us, but no one ever followed up. We sent multiple emails requesting either a refund or the option to reschedule within a one-year period. Despite our numerous attempts, Efteling has completely ignored us. Not a single response to our emails, no solution offered, and no refund provided. They kept the full amount of money for our four-night stay without any explanation or communication. This lack of customer care and refusal to engage is deeply disappointing, especially considering the circumstances. I cannot recommend Efteling to anyone, as their customer service is completely unprofessional and unresponsive. If you are considering booking here, be warned: they do not seem to value their customers or provide solutions in times of need.
