The Originals Boutique, Hôtel les Strélitzias

It's been 6 years since we stayed in one of the hotel's larger studios and appreciated the convenience of an underground garage, as well as the restaurant and bar in the hotel. This time we stayed in a "superior" room in the hotel on the second floor overlooking Jardin Pauline. We loved the size of it c.33sq.metres with a terrace, modern bathroom and walk in shower. A small fridge and kettle was provided and everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable. A short walk of 5 minutes takes you to the front of Juan les Pins. An even shorter walk to the main road has bus stops with buses going to Antibes or Cannes in the other direction. There's also a train station - 10 to 15 mins walk. We ate in the restaurant several times as it does breakfast lunch and dinner seven days a week. The menus are posted in the lift. They are straightforward with a choice of two dishes for each course, and there's an a la carte as well. We thought that the chef delivered well presented dishes with flair. The staff are great!! Smiling and helpful without exception. We were really pleased to find the Strelitzias as good as ever and will certainly return.

I recommend this hotel. Close to everything, quiet, clean and very nice rooms. We were friends and stayed for one week. This we have done for several years. We'll be back next September. The Strelitzias will be our first choice. Good value for our money.

This is my second time in this property. First one was amazing so tried a second time. I had no idea that I have selected a room without a balcony this time. So asked the receptionist to pay more but not possible. Room no 15 is the worst room ever. The cleaning ladies wake you up early every morning and the office room I believe is on top of this room. A lady was walking with high heels all day above us. This holiday turned out to be not ease but stress. I asked a change again but NO.

Terrible hotel. We had a big apartment to ourselves for 6 days (from 19/08/23-25/08/23). At first it seemed alright, but 1 day in we realised that our apartment had a dirty floor, so dirty that our feet turned black. Also it was filled with ANTS. On days 3-6 of our stays the elevator wasn’t working. We had to bring some of the things, like luggage etc. down to the parking by the steps down 7 floors!! Also the check out was at 10:00 AM, so early!!! By the reviews we excepted much better. Don’t recommend this hotel. Terrible. P.S.: Pictures of ants in room and elevator not working attached.

We found the hotel with only alittle detour thrown in and that's mainly thanks to google maps loosing GPS signal. We drove up into the forecourt to unload the bags and once checked in, I had to move the car to the rear of the hotel to access the underground parking, which infact meant driving around the block and doubling back on myself to get to the entrance.. no big drama to be fair. The hotel lobby and reception area is nice, and well appointed. The room was large and refurnished to a decent standard but it's obvious to see the architecture is old. Obvously not as nice as the pictures portray but comfortable nonetheless. The seperate toilet was clean but completely devoid of character. Hang a picture or an artificial plant, something...! The bathroom was better but the lit mirror was spontaneous due to a faulty wiring and the bathroom shower seal was ineffective allowing water from the shower to spill out onto the floor which is a pet hate. Towels were a little wash worn, but there were more than enough for the three of us so no issues here. We ate out so I cant comment on the breakfast, which was just a tad overpriced in my opinion. Overall, a good stay but for the price, I was hoping for better.

Very comfortable and nice hotel to stay in, specially with the family. Near everything, clean and quiet service. Michele is excellent in sorting little issue to our convenience. Would recommend it and will stay again next visit. A washing facility is available at 4 euro, very good option for long time traveling.

Room was clean. Staff were so friendly. Price is affordable. It would be my first option in case I go to Juan les Pain
