La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jourdanton - Pleasanton

There was no room in the inn. I arrived there and it was raining. Went to park the car and there was absolutely NO PARKING. The lot was filled with white work trucks, several taking up multiple spaces. I had to park in a corner as far away from the entrance as possible. There were several other cars parked similarly, wherever they could find room. I had to run to the entrance in the pouring rain and got completely soaked. Luckily I was traveling with a friend so I was able to leave her with the kids to wait in the entrance. It took a hot minute for an employee to show up to check us in. I commented on there being no parking and emphasized ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING. He just laughed and said "Yeah. We know. We're renovating." (I would not have booked the stay if this had been advertised.) But he did not say it in a sympathetic way, as if it was funny. The room was hot & stuffy. We turned the AC on and when it finally kicked on, it buzzed and wooshed, all night long. If we turned it off, the room quickly got hot and stuffy. In the morning, the shower water was just above lukewarm. The hotel looked really clean. Breakfast was standard, but satisfying. The bed was okay. Nothing to write home about. All in all, I was highly disappointed and wish I had chosen another hotel.

Melissa/Melinda..sorry not sure sorry was very helpful on the phone to add a night and already had our rooms grouped together when we checked in. Pet friendly…rooms clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay. Clean comfortable rooms and very friendly staff.

Staff was friendly. I had trouble with parking when I came in late. Staff instructed me to park up front. They made a bad position for me and took care of it quickly.

Loved our stay there but we didn’t get to use the pool since it was closed throughout the whole time we were there.

Very good bed and pillows. No ice , as something had been wrong & turned on so not ready . Only thing.

The was a drain in bathroom floor, when you flushed the toilet it smelled like a sewer

I travel a great deal for work and this is the first property I have ever come across that has no water available. No water in the fitness center, no water fountain; there wasn’t even water as an option at breakfast. The average high temp during my stay was 104 degrees…be better LaQuinta!!! Your customers deserve better for what you charge.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
