My 6-day stay at Melville Gap Guest House proved to be absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere and level of hospitality were of a high-quality standard, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. I would like to thank Melville Gap House hosts Tetyana and Malibongwe for welcoming me and making my stay exceptionally comfortable. I will most certainly be returning and would highly recommend the Melville Gap House to anyone seeking a warm, secure, and welcome stay in Johannesburg.

The establishment is lovely. however the service was poor and sleep quality really bad. 3 people had to share 2 single beds due to a very uncomfortable sleeper couch which could not be slept on. Staff were asked for extra linen to make the couch more comfortable so that it could be used, but did not oblige. the aicon was also not working which is unacceptable in summer. A very uncomfortable stay, sadly.

The expectations were met and surpassed. A very delightful and beautiful place to spend your stay in Jhb. Peaceful and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Mlindos, thanks for your hospitality brother.

The pictures don't do it justice. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The place was clean and attractive. It accommodated my 1year old toddler, that's how satisfied I am. I will certainly be back when I'm around again.

Absolutely great place to stay. We were very well looked after and advised. The breakfast was excellent.We received a lot of information about excursions and behavior in Joahannesburg.The rooms are very well equipped and also very comfortable.

We stayed at the Gap Guest House between the 15 - 19 August 2022. The location was great for us as my daughter had to visit the University of Johannesburg. The staff was excellent, and the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. It is a well-maintained property and had on-site parking. All equipment worked and there is free WI-FI. There are enough eating places and supermarkets in close proximity. We utilise the self-catering unit for our stay. Marius is always there for any assistance. He also enquired on our trip back as it snowed on that day. Great service Marius. We felt welcomed and would recommend this establishment

Marius welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. The self catering unit was clean and well-equipped. All staff were friendly and polite. The place was easy to find and quiet. The heaters worked well keeping us warm.

Warm welcoming, exceptionally clean, everything found to be in working order. Bathroom spacious and clean with very nice amenities. Parking was a little bit tight and property is quite close to the road - but did not disrupt our sleep or take away from a very comfortable and safe stay in JHB.
