Safari Camp Osian

Four Australian friends and I (I live in NYC) joined up to do an extensive road trip through Rajasthan. The Osian Safari Desert Camp was one of our stops. We stayed two nights at the Camp. From the outset, we were made to feel like maharani. The Camp is ***aged by Nirmal Singh who was hands-on and made sure our every need was attended to, including, among other things, milk for our tea, refrigeration for the wine we brought with us, extra glasses for that wine — even having it served nicely for us when we attended a beautiful cultural music and traditional dance program on our first evening. Safari is not a gratuitous part of the camp name — on our second evening, we were driven by Jeep in an exciting, adventurous ride out into the bush where we saw local wildlife, including a type of antelope that isn’t often seen. The ride culminated in a dramatic sunset that we viewed from a ridge that overlooked a savanna-like expansive landscape. Our Jeep driver then took us to his family’s farm where we enjoyed masala tea and learned about the millet that they grew on their farm. The company was delightful — parents, siblings, children, cows and goats. We were made to feel like family. On our way back to camp, we stopped to take in the night sky — incredible. Our meals at the camp were a delicious harmony of flavors in several dishes offered. The tents in which we stayed were well appointed — as a techie, I appreciated having a power source for my tech devices. I even had a writing desk! After we left the Camp, and arrived at our next destination, one of our travel mates realized that she left her medications back at the camp in her tent. Nirmal graciously arranged to have her meds couriered to our hotel in Jaipur, courtesy of him. We were astounded. Nirmal and his staff’s hospitality clearly know no bounds. Our experience of the Camp will always stand out as one of our best memories of our road trip.

Good room and good food, staff was very kind and ***ager provided us everything we needed, we left this place early in the morning for taking a train and they dropped us to the railway station with their car without any charge.Thank you very much

Its a one of a kind experience and I loved every bit of it❤️ From the safari to the camel ride, to the beautiful tent to the food everything was perfect! I never thought such a thing exists until I came here.. The staff is so hospitable and my tent stay was the best part! Cannot wait to visit again

Best place to visit and brilliant people. Very nice and clean tents with delicious food served with love. Jeep ride and camel ride added to the trip, there was a evening show with snacks and bonfire. A brilliant trip and a must go…. My family enjoyed it

This was our second time visiting Osian safari .We were here in March 2020 our amazing experience and the personal attention from the owner Mahaveer Singh(who takes care of all his guests very well )went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable made us visit this place in 2022 again 😊😊🤗 we loved each and everything about this place ..from Delicious food ,to stay ,camel safari &cultural program everything was perfect !Would definitely recommend it to my friends and family in US and India to visit this must see place in Jodhpur !!To me it Looks like we found a home away from home 🏡🤗

Safari Camp has given an amazing experience and homely atmosphere to us. After a lot of research I selected them and i was no wrong. Mahaveer Singh ji and his staffs are working hard to give you the best possible experiences and atmosphere. Camel safari and sunset view was planned meticulously and ***aged really well. Grateful to every staffs who took good care of my 3 year old daughter. Tents and cottages are maintained well with basic required facilities and the entire campus has been kept really clean which is a tough job though. The evening cultural program and refreshments are also well arranged. If you want to spend some quality time with everyday hustle from city life, this is a must visit place during your travel to Jodhpur. Only one point for improvement: oil in all food items were on little higher side. For this reason only my rating will be 4.5, otherwise it's a perfect 5.

I came here with my family. I have never known more humble staff in this catagory. Thr food was fresh, the stay was cozy, the tents were warma dn neat. The cultural program was soothing. Camel safari was exciting and the jeep desert safari was adventurous. Over all I would recommend this place to all over others.

Had a lovely time! Great hospitality and a beautiful place. Dessert safari is a must try. They had beautiful cultural perfor***ces and great music. The staff is extremely polite and truly cares about your experience. Loved it and will continue to visit.
