Amritara Manak Haveli

We recently stayed at this hotel and would like to share a few observations that might be helpful for anyone considering a booking: 1. Location: The hotel is situated in a highly congested area, making direct car access impossible. Visitors are required to park their vehicles at least 2 kilometers away and use local autos or rickshaws to reach the property. 2. Staff: The staff were very cooperative and accommodating, which we greatly appreciated. 3. Rooms: While the rooms were clean, the biggest issue we faced was the lack of soundproofing. The property is relatively small, and noises from other guests and surrounding areas easily filtered into the rooms, making it difficult to sleep peacefully.

A haveli converted to a heritage hotel. Nicely decorated one which gave a feel of living in a haveli. In the heart of the city. Walking distance from the jodhpur clock tower and market area. So be ready to move in thin lanes. No car parking available in the property but the hotel management arranged a parking nearby and then provided logistics support to and from the hotel. Service staff was a bit disappointment as they were not looking trained, however the property owners were present during breakfast and dinner time and taking care of one's needs. Even proving other products which were not in the menu. Thank you for that.

We stayed in the Maharani room. The bed was comfortable. However I would say don't stay in this room if you have any mobility issues as there are about five steps down into the room without any banister, and the bathroom is at the top of the steps. Due to the property's location, we had dinner both nights at the hotel. It was difficult to get the staff to pay us any attention, and on the final morning (we were the only guests) breakfast times were changed without any notification, and there were some communication difficulties. The room information describes a 42" TV which it wasn't, a fruit basket which was not there, dressing gowns which weren't provided until requested, and windows - well there were windows but not that you could look out through. And finally, there were some celebrations nearby one night which were so loud we were unable to sleep until after midnight. The room unfortunately did not live up to expectations or the previous reviews.

Totally opposite to expectations. Terrible food and hygiene. Not a heritage vibe. Washrooms smelly

I booked this property for approximately 10000 but to my surprise when this place was just 500 metres away i realised that one cannot reach there coz of very narrow roads also only autos can reach there. But all auto drivers refused to go there exclaiming that all roads are closed which leads us to the property. At last i called the hotel and then they said that i can come by auto ( which everyone refused ) and they said that we did not have ur no to inform me that i can only reach by auto on the contrary i booked this property through mm t. Guys pols don’t fall into this trap

I had a wedding to attend in jodhpur which is when I decided to extend my stay to explore and experience the rich cultural heritage and a riot of food and fusion of the Blue City! The locals had recommended staying in places that looked like business hotels...nah! Not for me 😆 😂 I wanted a 'haveli' with an intimate experience. And that's exactly what I found, actually overload of it in Manak Haveli. My interior design eye was pleasantly stimulated with the richness of the interiors, the attention to detail and the juxtaposition of colors textures and a fantastic array of collectibles. P.S. my favorite place turned out to be their terrace bar which had great views of Mehrangarh Fort and great food served while sitting in the shade even when it was relatively hot outside. It was a beautiful experience. I bumped into a fun group of Australians who seemed over the top fired up with the pottery workshop, the village tour, the shopping and to my surprise, the food that they couldn't stop Raving about!! Well, What can I say.. This haveli is in the heart of the old city so very close to everything where the real action is.. so that was a PLUS for me. I got a chance to interact with the family.. and I learned that this is a family run business (or passion if I may say) and it's clearly visible in the way they took care of me and my specific needs! This was their own home up until a few years ago and they treat it exactly like that. Lemme know about your experience if you happen to stay there too! Cheers
