When we checked in, we upgraded the room type, and gave us an extra cup of coffee, and asked us to add WeChat, which perfectly solved our needs during our stay. The restaurant breakfast is also very rich. As a high-star hotel near the world-class tourist attraction Jiuzhaigou, tourists eat at around 7:00 in the morning peak, and there are occasional queues. I understand that. I read the comments that Howard Johnson is a bit old, and there will be old guest rooms. In fact, the guest rooms are well maintained, and the bedding and quilts are very comfortable. After a day of playing, I basically fell asleep at night. Hotel located just a short walking distance to the entrance of the scenic area. It was also easy to find at night when our shuttle dropped us off. The room was comfortable and we really appreciate the electric blanket during the cold weather. The breakfast was okay, but could have been warmed. The restaurant was also unheated. There were other restaurants to choose from nearby. 

I believe this hotel is the best luxury hotel here. Its owner takes care of you like he treats his family. His garden is full of flowers, he will charge your car, clean it, and help you carry your luggage. Here is everything you need, rain shoes, raincoats, nearby attractions, and travel guides. He will introduce his hometown to you without reservation. He will also take you to the entrance of the scenic area and remind you of all the things you need to pay attention to like family. I am so happy. I hope to bring my friends and family back here in the near future.

The first glimpse I stepped in at this hotel impressed me, the location is very close to Jiuzhaigou entrance, and there are many restaurants and groceries nearby, absolutely convenient. Also, the room when i saw at first was relatively clean. However, things started to get worse, the bathroom, if looked closer, there were no towels provided for feet nor hands, which means after you finished taking a shower, the floor is gonna get wet all over the places, the amenities were so-so, the flush and the shower were loose, they needed to be fixed properly. Moreover, they hanged the hair dryer bag without any hair dryer in it, what for? The room was okay, not fantastic but not terrible. In the morning, i have to get up so early because of the cars and buses pushing horns to each other, i don’t understand why many people here doing this. To me this is rude and harms others while they are sleeping. The internet here is amazing at the first night, very quick and effective, but on the second day it was a dead lack. Overalls, a budget hotel that surrounded by many convenience stores and restaurants, close to Jiuzhaigou, but also comes with noise-pollution. The interiors were not as good as in the pictures, will find another hotel instead.

Great location - near the Jiuzhaiguo site. Warm and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Breakfast was simple - porridge, buns/man tou, soya drink and sweet potato. Some issue with Trip.com which featured the room we booked has swimming pool/bathtub in the room while there was none. The receptionists were very kind and upgraded us a room with bathtub. Suggest Trip.com correct the room features. Otherwise such misunderstanding will occur. Receptionist recommended us to a nearby ******* restaurant. The BBQ lamb was excellent. Hot pot yak is average - expensive and not much flavour. If going to Jiuzhaiguo in winter , suggest use heat pads for hands and body. It’s very cold - minus 4 degrees Celsius while we were there. Hualong mountain and JZ - truly a breathtaking sight in winter. It’s a winter wonderland! Must see at least once in a life time.

Perfect stay for travellers who are short on time. Just 15min walk to park entry and in the middle of restaurants and stores. The host is very helpful and prepared. She told us directly how we should visit the park, what we can manage in time and got an English map. That was absolutely great! Even helped us with booking a bus to next train station etc Room is clean and good size, the shower is separated from toilet! Good when you are two people ;) We loved to stay there:)
