Crazy Camel Hotel & Safari

Very nice hostel in a great location - 3 min walk from the fort. Has a nice kitchen service and rooftop and organises camel safaris. In our case, given that it was low season and we were the only ones doing the safari, the price was really high (you could find people offering a similar experience for half the price). However it was worth paying a bit more to take much less touristic routes - we saw almost no one for 24h straight, but this might also be due to low season - and to be accompanied by Vikram who was a wonderful guide, cook, and camel ***. Strongly recommend if you really wanna do this but are looking for a less crowded experience.

The rooms are some of the cleanest Ive stayed in my whole trip in India! The staff is so polite, and genuinely trying to help in any way and arrange anything you need, from Safari to bus or train tickets! Their food is delicious, always freshly cooked and good ingredients and clean and just so tasty!! The Safari they took us on was brilliant, stayed under the stars, enjoyed the sand dunes and the desert. Really an experience to remember! Would definitely visit again, and recommended without question!

We had the chance to do a camel safari with crazy Camel Safari in Feb with my family. Our guides were great, fun, and had an exclusive experience when nobody around. In top of that the food was really good, and we had a lot of fun there … Would love to do it again in the future.

Crazy Camel was amazing. The staff felt like family, always welcoming with big smiles and helpful advice, makes you feel at home. The food was incredible - the rooftop is legendary. And the camel safari...unforgettable! Roaming the sand dunes at sunset was pure joy. Don't miss this experience. Highly recommended.

I had a really amazing time in Crazy Camel! I stayed in this hostel for a while and was as being at home. Jamin and all the rest of the staff were really kind, always available and ready to help. They also organize amazing safari in the desert, making you live a real and authentic experience, off tourist areas, learning how to cook traditional food and sleeping under the star. The hostel is really near the entrance of the fort and has an amazing terrace, with a rooftop! In the hostel there’s restaurant open all day long, that prepares fresh dishes, with a lot of taste! Visited here for a wedding and a friend suggested the Crazy Camel. I was given a lovely warm welcome and a lovely room. They have one dorm room and several double occupancy rooms. They had rooms with balconies etc but I was VERY grateful to be able to have an internal room. Whilst this sounds strange it means that it is really quiet during the night which in India is virtually a non existent thing. I had the absolute best nights sleep on a comfy bed. I will also say the the whole place is really nice and clean. My room was very clean as was the en suite bathroom which was wonderful. The food is also excellent and very reasonably priced. How I can start.. Jamin is an incredible person! The hostel is located near the fort, the dormitory is clean and big. The restaurant is so good, tasty Indian food! I'll miss this place, it's like a second home for me! And also Jamin and his staff can organize a real wild desert safari! I already miss all of this small things. Thank you

I felt very welcome in the crazy camel guesthouse. The owner, Jamin, was friendly on the phone. He picked me up from the bus station when I arrived and brought me back to the station when I left. The rooms are clean. The food here is amaaazing. Full of flavor!
