There are more pros than cons, but there are cons. The hotel is composed of a number of independent houses, located on a public street, i.e., to go from one room to another or to the reception/restaurant, you have to go out to the street and go into another building. It is not cozy at all. The hotel is located at a stone's throw from the Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sofia Mosque, the Blue Mosque and the Water Cistern. You walk less than 3 minutes to get to any of them. On the other hand, amid Istanbul’s traffic, the worst I have ever seen in my life, the traffic near the hotel is the worst of the worst. Very easy to get to the places I mentioned, a nightmare to get in and out of an extremely bad location traffic wise to the generally very bad traffic elsewhere in town. Rooms are decorated in Turkish style, spacious and modern. All convenience you would expect from an hotel of this category are available. Were it not for the location, it would not have been the best choice in my opinion.

In Muslim countries, prayers are held five times a day. When the loudspeaker sounds, it is most disturbing in the early morning. However, they seem to be very conscious, and the volume is slightly lower in the morning and the duration is shorter. The rest of the time, just enjoy listening to music when praying. Every time, there is a live broadcast of prayers in every mosque, playing a long tune as if singing, which is very exotic. When we arrived in our room the radiator broke and they changed our room to a more expensive one with a sea view at no extra charge. Although we didn't use it, the hotel also has a SPA. Highly recommended

Absolutely great place to stay! The hotel is placed on the heart of the city, all main sightseeing’s in walking distance, a lot of restaurants around so it’s easy to find nice place for lunch or dinner or just for cup of Turkish tea. The hotel is not big, with very stylish local design and absolutely warm atmosphere inside: a lot of respect and care about the guests. The rooms are clean and have nice design, small balconies with street view or sea view on other side. In nice cafe on the first floor good breakfast are served. Especially would like to thank Kenan from reception for his hospitality, help in every question we had, stories and recommendations about the city. It was pleasant stay :) Thank you

Absolutely Perfact place for visitors. Very clean very nice and very convenient. Front Desk stuff are full of happy welcoming and always able to help you out. I enjoyed staying in this hotel. Pluses: - comfortable big rooms; - perfect location - next to Istiklal famous street and Taksim square is just 10 minutes walk; a lot of restaurants, shops around; 5 minutes walk to Galata tower; - very good service; - ok breakfast (selection could be better) - but service is amazing. Attentive and fast. Special thanks to Eren - surprised with very good service. Please keep him. - 18th floor have amazing restaurant with city view; - ok small gym; - nice outdoor pool. Minuses: - amenties sometimes have some issues - like windows lockers, lights. Before rooms are given to clients - would recommend to check. In general would recommend and i would be back.
