The hotel itself was in a decent location as it was near shops and transport links. The area was very busy and loud day and night. Do not sleep here if you are a light sleeper as sounds penetrate the walls and Turkish people will honk their horns for pleasure. The whole building needs to be renovated. Wallpaper was peeling off and many items of furniture were broken. My mother had to yank the wardrobe door from side to side every time we needed something. I lacked the strength. In our room we had barely any space to put things. Some hooks would be nice to put your clothes up. The bathroom had no window and was not ventilated so smells would remain for a long time. My brother has IBS so this was not pleasant. The room was not cleaned properly. The carpet was not hoovered. Only minimal cleaning was carried out before our arrival (the sheets were changed and bathroom lightly cleaned). Only the bins were changed during our stay. Sheets had old stains that didn't come off in the wash which was a little off-putting. The breakfast was a plate of pre prepared items which included a boiled egg, 3 slices of cheeses, jam, honey/nutella, 4 cucumber slices, 4 tomato slices, exactly 4 olives and as much tea and bread as you want. It was adequate but nothing like the pictures suggest. Staff were ok. The waiter at breakfast and the man at reception were nice. The rest just get on with their jobs and ignore you which is fine. Some positives were that the AC worked and they had decent WiFi. My brother also loved the bidet and spent way to long enjoying that every morning.
