Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel fell significantly short of our expectations. Initially booking a triple room due to our young child, we encountered multiple challenges upon arrival. Heavy rain had caused a flood in our allocated room, resulting in a lack of electricity. This prompted several room changes, disrupting our stay, including an early morning request to vacate a room, which was particularly difficult with a child. Despite our repeated requests for a triple room, suitable alternatives were not provided, forcing us into an uncomfortable sleeping arrangement. Additionally, while the location was convenient, navigating the steep inclines with a stroller was extremely challenging. Promised breakfast provisions for our child were consistently overlooked, and basic amenities like milk and an extra blanket were repeatedly denied. Furthermore, the actual room conditions were a stark contrast to the images advertised, with cramped spaces and a malfunctioning TV. Despite our efforts to escalate these issues to the owners, regrettably, no action was taken. This lack of response compounded our disappointment, ultimately impacting the quality of our holiday. We earnestly implore a thorough investigation into these matters to ensure a fair resolution.

Beautiful hotel, good located close to main attractions. Room is very clean, good comfortable bed. Very professional and friendly staff, speaking Russian, english, Turkish Strongly recommended, defenetly come back

This is our second stay at Wonder Wood. Both times it felt as though we were being welcomed into a home as we took off our shoes at the entrance, with Zara greeting us warmly. The hotel is on a quiet lane; what a relief to sleep with no noise from traffic or revellers. It is easy walking distance to the main tourist sites and public transport. Restaurants galore nearby. We'll definitely come again!

We've spent six nights in this hotel and I must say that everything was excellent. The location of the hotel is close to all the main Istanbul attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable. The best part of this hotel is the staff. The two receptionists guys were so friendly and helpfull. We couldn't asked for more. We'll be back soon for sure. :) thank you

Reviews were attractive as was the cost but functionality of room was disappointing. First room was to small (#6), ok for if you can leave your bags in the hall, second room was a nice size but the bath room was very small and the main shower head was not functional. Staff were good and accommodating, breakfast before 8:30 was doable.

This hotel is exceptionally well priced, super well located, and beautifully maintained. It is a perfect symphony of old world/new world decor and immenities. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly in a way that is genuine and not at all over the top. In every way they want you to have the best experience possible and are very helpful in terms of what is good value for money. The hotel is located in an oasis of calm and community very close to the hustle and bustle that is Istanbul. The tram line is a 7 minute walk, the blue mosque a 10 minute walk. Enjoy, Irish Dave

Chambre minuscule, odeur de canalisation affreuse dans la salle de bain, panne de wifi. Sinon petit déjeuner correct, hôtel et chambre très propres, literie confortable, personnel agréable. Bien situé.
