Diamond Royal Hotel

Was not as elaborate in person as it looked in the photos. However the hotel was fine for our short visit as we were out all day. Very comfortable bed - bathroom was not up to standard. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Accommodation came with a free hammam treatment and we took the opportunity of also having a massage - this was amazing and wonderful and would thoroughly recommend. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for getting to the sights - 10 minute walk to the blue mosque, hagia Sofia, basilica cistern etc. Overall the hotel suites our needs perfectly. Everything is in your doorstep. Breakfast was OK. Overall would definitely recommend for short stay.

Very cozy rooms with comfy beds. Reception stuff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially Ferhat and Ali. Big thank to everyone, which made our stay so nice. Breakfast was yummy, localisation is brilliant. Very close to many attractions in the old town. Highly recommended 👌

I’m from iraq , when i go to istanbul i go to this hotel because it’s a very good and a perfect hotel with his staff ❤️❤️❤️ love it so much because it’s very quiet and very nerby for metro station and it’s a very safe hotel ❤️❤️ if someone want to come to istanbul come to the diamond royal hotel

What a fabulous place with fabulous people who look after you all the way. Ok the rooms are good showing an odd blemish or two but that pales into insignificance when you realise how well looked after you are by all of the staff. They go the extra mile to make sure you’re ok. Recommend staying here anytime you’re in Istanbul, it’s perfectly located for everything, breakfast is different but has a bit of something for everyone. Just sitting outside watching the World go by is worth it alone. Modern room access is amazing with an electric make up my room, do not disturb and door bell. Can’t praise the people working there enough.

Avoid at all times! They don’t even deserve 1 star!! This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in, I have never seen such a dirty hotel. I have paid over 20,000 lira (over £1,000) for 2 weeks and I have expected a lot better service for kind of price. The staff at the reception are extremely rude and speak very basic English! The breakfast was very very poor with the same oily options. The plates, cups and cutlery were always dirty and there were flies in bread and near the food!! The rooms were really dirty, including dirty towels, stains on the carpets which were never hovered, dirty bathroom and smelly bedding. On their website and during the booking it says that all rooms are soundproof which is wrong as they are not. My holiday was ruined because of this hotel, and we had to have breakfast elsewhere due to how dirty everything was in the breakfast area! There was nothing good about this hotel and the staff have no customer service skills and the way they treat and speak to their customer is shocking!! Avoid at all times!!!!!

Nothing like on the pictures here. Good things only great location & very friendly-helpful staff on the reception. Breakfast very poor. No bar or restaurant how it was written.,Take your cosmetics with you at least shower gel & hair conditioner you will find there just shampoo, soap bar and very old/ danger sound hairdryer

We booked three rooms for a family get-together in Istanbul. The hotel staff is friendly and it seemed a family-owned/run hotel. I should mention Receptionist Gokhan who did outstanding service and was all smiles and help to my family with any questions. The hotel is near many restaurants and attraction spots. Breakfast was amazing, overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Really awful

Отель имеет хорошее расположение - рядом метро, метро Мармалай, трамвай Т1, в пешей доступности Галатский мост и набережная. В отеле очень отношение к туристам, уборка каждый день, есть русскоговорящий персонал, но проблемы с питанием (в целом питание день ото дня не сильно отличается, есть небольшие различия в салатах и тушеных овощах, но с голоду точно не умрёшь, выбрать можно), его необходимо совершенствовать - в частности, фрукты на завтраке зачастую были с гнилью (клубника гнилая, черешня - подгнившая, абрикосы тоже), 7 июня на завтрак были горелые драники - жареные лепешки с картошкой. Нарезанные кусочки сыра сотрудник ресепшна (к сожалению, видели это лично, сотрудник молодой мужчина, по-русски с туристами не говорит, только по-английски) перед завтраком выкладывал на тарелку голыми руками, без перчаток и других инструментов, не соблюдая правила элементарной гигиены и санитарно-эпидемиологической безопасности. Для питья туристов на завтраке и заваривания чая используется водопроводная вода с сильным запахом и неприятным вкусом. Вся еда (за исключением салатов, их подогревать не надо, и сосисок в соусе) была на завтраках даже не комнатной температуры, а очень холодная, из холодильника (как вариант решения проблемы в отеле могли бы использовать металлические блюда для еды и под них ставить небольшие горелки для подогрева еды - так делают, например, в отелях Таиланда). В общем, если бы не условия питания в отеле и подготовки сотрудников к нему, всё было бы хорошо. Прошу работников отеля также обратить внимание на наполнение номеров, в частности, кофе-крем в номере приносят с сильно просроченным сроком годности (фото прилагаю) - срок годности был до сентября 2022, а на дворе на день поездки был июнь 2023. Прошу сотрудников отеля не воспринимать вштыки указанные выявленные проблемы, а принять к сведению и устранить их, и тогда желающих приехать отдохнуть в отель или по работе будет ещё больше. Спасибо.
