Kastro Guesthouse

After researching the options in guide books and on hotel websites, Hotel Kastro turned out to be an excellent choice for our 2-night stay in Ioannina. Its location within the residential, traffic-free part of the historic old citadel was both picturesque and peaceful, while the bustling city centre with it's many interesting shops and good restaurants was an easy walk away. The hotel itself, converted from an old mansion set within a small garden, was charmingly furnished and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the breakfast provided was both bountiful and delicious. We received a warm welcome on our arrival and very helpful advice on what to see and where to eat in the area, in accordance with the overall feeling of personal care and attention offered by the owners.

Very comfortable 2 night stay at hotel Kastro. Friendly welcome from Xenia and team. Rooms elegantly decorated, comfortable beds. We had a double aspect room with views to the castle. Quiet area of the city within the castle walls. Delightful courtyard for guests to use for breakfast or just relaxing. Amazing breakfast, plentiful, and beautifully presented. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if visiting Ioannina again!

The hotel is beyond magnificent. Its location is located inside the castle, which is a private area. Parking is free. You're two streets away from restaurants, the location is really great. There are houses and streets where you can take pictures in every corner of the castle. it's like magic. The hotel has been tastefully done from start to finish. Rooms, garden flowers everything is very well maintained and very clean. carer really likes this hotel and its customers. The rooms are brand new and very stylish. You feel yourself in a luxury suite. The most delicious breakfast I've ever had. It is not easily developed. There were toasts, cakes, pastries. tea is unlimited and comes with a teapot.. there is orange juice. There is yogurt. Breakfast in the garden is incredibly enjoyable. You cannot find anything negative. I would definitely recommend it if you come to this area. you must stay here.

Kastrup hotel is located in a awesome place with fantastic atmosphere. The owner and host was very professional and helpfull. He gave us precise and valuable information on treks near Viko Gorge, fantastic restaurants etc. We had a flabbergasting stay and experience in and around Ioannina

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans ce petit hôtel au coeur de la vieille ville. Chambre confortable et très propre. Accueil sympathique, la réceptionniste a même fait l'effort de parler français. Petit-déjeuner copieux et gourmand. Accès facile vers les Zagoria pour randonner.

Peut-on trouver mieux ? Chambre très bien décorée, très propre, avec une literie très confortable (ch 7), petit frigo, bonne cabine de douche. Situé au calme tout près de la forteresse intérieure dont l'entrée est à 50m. Possibilité de parking devant l'hôtel et sortie de la voiture possible sans emprunter les rues trop étroites. Excellent service toujours souriant (en anglais). Petit déjeuner énorme, gâteaux variés, wrap, croque monsieur, sandwich, oeuf dur, yaourt au miel, pain confiture (Mais café pas à mon goût). 4 nuits passées ici, très agréables, bien mieux que le paladion que j'ai fréquenté dans le passé.

Heerlijk hotel met super vriendelijke eigenaren. Hele mooie kamers en in het centrum van de stad. Alles is op loopafstand bereikbaar. Het hotel ligt binnen de stadsmuren dus we konden het niet zo makkelijk vinden na een telefoontje naar het hotel vertelde ze dat je met de auto gewoon de stad in mag rijden als je daar een verblijf hebt geboekt. Heerlijk ontbijt gehad op het terras in de zon. Super.

Μείναμε ένα βράδυ σε αυτόν τον μικρό ξενώνα που βρίσκεται δίπλα στο κάστρο .Το δωμάτιο ήταν όμορφο όπως και οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι ήταν φτιαγμένοι με μεράκι και θύμιζε αρχοντικό .Το πρωινό μας ήταν ένας δικός γεμάτος πίτες ,κρουασάν και φυσικό χυμό .Το κόστος στα 90 ευρώ από booking .

Όμορφος χωρος εξωτερικα κοντα στο βυζαντινό μουσείο με άνετο πάρκινγκ ,πολύ πολύ καθαρο, η διακόσμηση ταιριάζει απόλυτα με το σπίτι . Εξαιρετικό στρώμα και τα μαξιλάρια επισης. Το πρωινό πολύ καλό . Σιγουρα θα έρθουμε παλι
