Royston Guest House Inverness

A very beautiful historical home, with extremely accommodating and kind staff. It purposefully has space for guests to park their cars so if you are planning on renting a car or driving to Inverness I really reccomend staying here. I myself stayed for 9 days without any vehicle and found the brief morning walk into town to be really nice. Its not in the busy city center so it was nice and quiet in comparison. The beds are very comfortable and I found myself sleeping well. The shower was perfect with three different water pressure modes and a nice easy to move dial for choosing the temperature. I didn't go with the optional breakfast they offered at Royston Guest House, but whenever I left in the morning and breakfast was being served the smell was always splendid. I truly loved my stay here and I truly reccomend it!!! It does not allow hot takeaway food, or heating up left overs due to avoiding bad smells in the room, so if that is important to you I reccomend finding another place. For most people that shouldn't be a problem though, the food in Inverness is tasty enough that I never had any leftovers to even bring back. On the other hand too, if you have a sensitive nose like me this place is super good!!!!!

My wife & I have just spent an enjoyable 3 nights in Royston guest house. Ross has been an excellent host & the breakfast's were super. While the steps were steep for carrying bags it was not an issue. Only a 10 minute walk into the city centre. We would certainly stay again if in Inverness again.

Host is extremely kind and was able to fix a small issue I had with a tire / breakfast is amazing / room big small and comfortable

Property was nice and easy to get to and easy access to down town not to far of a drive.

What a great place! We thoroughly enjoyed the property. Great host, great food, great bedding, etc.

Avoid this place at all costs. The owner is extremely unpleasant and runs the place like a grumbling Oswald Mosley. The Scottish people are wonderful, and it would be tragic if anyone's impressions of the country were ruined by this mad fellow.

Stayed here on business and found it to be Very clean and comfortable. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Plenty of parking, would definitely stay here again. Owner of the premises is very pleasant and helpful.

Very friendly welcome and great little B&B. Owner Ross was up super early to feed us our tasty brekky before the Loch Ness Etape which was incredibly kind of him. Accommodation was nice and everything was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend if you need somewhere to stay in Inverness. 10 min walk to the main part of town and transport links make it a great location to stay.
