Nossa chegada à vila foi um pouco complicada e talvez estivéssemos um tanto mal-humorados depois de termos que subir uma ladeira íngreme de 20 minutos do ponto de ônibus até o hotel com nossas duas malas pesadas, mas assim que chegamos, nosso humor mudou completamente. O proprietário foi extremamente simpático e nos contou que até tentou nos contatar para nos buscar de carro, mas não conseguiu devido ao nosso número internacional. Depois, ele nos ofereceu um upgrade de quarto e nos mostrou os primeiros pontos turísticos. Inicialmente, planejávamos ficar apenas uma noite, mas acabamos gostando tanto da nossa estadia que ficamos mais uma noite. Tomamos um delicioso café da manhã europeu com a bela vista do hotel e fizemos amizade com o gato local. Todas as trilhas e experiências culturais foram incríveis, especialmente a trilha Dazhai-Ping'an, com tantas paisagens e vistas deslumbrantes ao longo do caminho. One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable. She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place. If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱 A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby. Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings. Overall, this spot is a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and character. Highly recommended for laid-back travelers, art lovers, and cat fans alike!

Wonderful location. Really homely atmosphere. The host Ms Linlin and her mom were the highlight of this trip. They went out of their way to keep us happy and entertained. Ms Linlin speaks good English and we had no communication problems at all. The chef at Qixin Jiuyin Inn was excellent and the pork spareribs was the highlight. We rented a e-bike and went exploring and we went to the mountains in the cable car which they helped us book. We were entertained in the evening by the family which gave us the opportunity to interact and find out loads more about these lovely people. The human touch is hard to beat. We had even more respect and gratitude to this great country which is made up with these wonderful people. Thank you so much. 🙏🙏🙏

Inicialmente, reservei apenas uma noite, mas fiquei tão impressionado com a minha primeira noite que decidi estender a estadia por mais duas. A roupa de cama era muito confortável, o chuveiro tinha ótima pressão de água, o ambiente era muito tranquilo e a limpeza impecável. O macarrão de arroz do café da manhã estava incrível (na minha opinião, é até melhor do que o das barraquinhas de rua). O proprietário até ofereceu um serviço de transfer da estação de trem de alta velocidade. Tudo foi tão agradável; recomendo muito se hospedar aqui!!! O tempo estava perfeito durante minha estadia em Yangshuo. Tirei fotos incríveis na Montanha Xiangong e visitei vários pontos turísticos populares. Com certeza trarei meus filhos na próxima vez.

You're right in the heart of the action without being in a noisy building. The room itself was so cozy and comfortable. After a long day of exploring, the hot shower was a lifesaver, and I appreciated that they provided complete toiletries—one less thing to worry about packing! Now, for the highlight of my stay: the guy at the reception. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. He truly went above and beyond to help me. One evening, he even sat down with me over a cup of tea and helped me plan my itineraries, offering fantastic local tips. He arranged carpooling services for me, which made getting to the various sights so much easier and more affordable. My entire stay in Yangshuo was smoother and more enjoyable because of him. That guy is 1000% great! Kudos to him and to the hotel for having such a fantastic employee. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

This hotel is perfectly located—offering quick access to the centre of Guilin while being tucked away in a peaceful area, far from the noise and crowds. The rooftop was a highlight for me, providing a stunning spot for photos and yoga sessions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; while most don’t speak English, they were patient and made communicating through online translators effortless. Cosy and clean rooms!

The Riverview is a fantastic hotel to stay in Yangshuo! Located very close to Longtoushan wharf, it's very easy to get to if you come to Yangshuo via the cruise. The staff are very helpful, they gave me all the resources I needed during my stay, and were able to be contacted at any point via WeChat. The room was lovely, a comfortable bed and a fantastic view from the balcony! I'd definitely recommend the Riverview to anyone staying in Yangshuo.

This is kind of disappointed experience. First of all, one of the toilet couldn't flush and needed two nights to repair, which I only stay there for three nights. It took so long to repair was because the staff made the mistake on the room (there are two rooms in this suite). Second, one of the air-conditioner was not cool at all and only half of it functioned. It didn't repair during our stay. You can imagine how uncomfortable and hot at the room when everyday is above 30 degree Celsius. Lastly, the room cleaning service really confused me. The staff will only clean your room only when you tell the reception you need the cleaning service every morning. This is not a big problem but the problem is NONE of the staff, including the staff during my check in or the staff on duty in the morning, told me that I have to do so to get the room cleaning service. Except the unsatisfying service, tbh, the view of the room is great and balcony is really spacious. It was a little bit sad that we could't enjoy it too much due to hot weather. It does deserve to have a stay if you want to enjoy the view.

Next to the airport, what we were loking for. They ofered us a free drop off to the airport netx day and it was perfect. The only thing is that they smoke inside the recepcion and the rooms, the smell was annoying.
