Silver Heart Inn & Cottages

I've thought a lot about this review because I truly am a positive person! After reading a lot of reviews on this B & B I thought I must have been at a different place. I'll start with the positive...we stayed in the Beach Cottage and it was nicely decorated & very clean. The bed was comfy as well. However, the whole property just seemed "sad." The buildings needed to be painted, the chair & table set in front of the cottage was rusty and the carpeting on the porch was coming off. But the thing that was most disappointing was the host (s). A lot of reviewers mentioned how nice the hosts were, how friendly & helpful, etc. A young woman checked us in and was ok, but not very professional. The next morning at breakfast I had inquired about decaf coffee. Her response was, "we have a Kuerig". Nothing else said, like "I'll make it for you" or "please feel free to use the Kuerig", nothing. I thought this was very rude! After breakfast (which was good but quite minimal) we mentioned that we had to leave early the next morning and despite the fact that their information said they could accommodate an early leaving, again she said nothing. Not even have a nice trip. Overall, my husband & I were less than pleased with our stay. We've stayed at numerous B&B's over the years and always felt very welcomed by the staff; not so much here We would not recommend this property.

Absolutely loved the bed and breakfast! Had amazing decorations that really take you back in time. The breakfast was also delicious and they had snacks and drinks available 24/7. 10/10…would definitely recommend for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

We booked Silver Heart Inn B&B to host a baby shower. The venue was beautifully decorated for the holidays and was perfect for our tea-party theme. The owner, Charles, was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The mom-to-be and all of our guests had a wonderful time! I highly recommend Silver Heart Inn if you're looking for an event venue.
