My aunt used to say that Hotel Del Rio is her second home here in PH, she used to being us when we were in grade school up to college. Our last stay was way back 2018. Such a nostalgic feeling being back again. Miss the bfast buffet so much. I hope renovation will be done soon!

Location is really great.. the buffet breakfast was good... service is good and they already have a smart TV..haha.. most of hotels in this price range doesn't have one.

Despite the renovations the hotel room was quiet and spacious. The staff were awesome and the breakfast buffet was superb. Will definitely go there again.

Enjoyed our stay and my husband was satisfied with the service especially the breakfast. Scrumptious meals for breakfast and several options to choose from. The room is also clean and same as seen on the pictures. I chose this hotel since it has a pool, to my dismay it was too far from our room and the pool can be seen by passersby, also pool time is only 7:00am to 7:00pm. Not enough time if you'll go around Iloilo for a tour and want to take a quick dip. Ended up not using the pool. Despite this, almost all services was satisfactory. Additionally, The location of the hotel is also good since you can walk near Esplanade and other establishments.

Room was big and had a king-sized bed. All rooms also have a fridge which is not too common in other hotels. Hotel has a pool as well though I was not able to try it out. Easy access to Iloilo Esplanade. Breakfast buffet spread was not as varied as pre-pandemic times but still sumptuous. Balcony view from the room is shown in the picture, overlooking Iloilo River.

there is a cockroach in the room.
the bidet is substandard.we were charged for the bidet even though it is already broken on the time we occupy the room.
