Hotel is quite modern and very clean. There are some shops and restaurants on site which provide good options for stop it is also opposite the Hurghada Plaza Shopping Mall where we thought the food court would supply some decent food items. However there were basically a couple of takeouts with very very limited range. It was disappointing. There is a Carrefour supermarket in the shopping mall. The hotel rooms are excellent and most face the beach with full glass windows and great views. However, one disappointing aspect was the air conditioning which unfortunately sounds like a jet engine taking off when it switches on automatically to cool the room. It was so loud that it woke us up several occasions during the evenings for our stay. The beach area is fantastic as the hotel is on a small bay. They were plenty of sun lounges available. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast buffet which was bedlam every morning. Coffee was supplied with two machines which continually kept running out of coffee and at the staff were unable to keep up. The small machines were clearly insufficient for the number of people staying at the hotel. Additionally, most people did not know how to use them which resulted in huge amounts of wastage spilling over into the trays which obviously causes them to run out even more quickly. But this situation needs to be remedied as it is completely unsatisfactory. Why don't they just put some large coffee urns there which would avoid this nonsense. One that needs to be aware that despite the war in Ukraine, Egypt seems to be one of the few countries still accepting Russian flights and tourists. Thus, you will need to fight for your space in the lines as they constantly push in, which unfortunately has been my experience when I've encountered them in many other countries in the world also.

It was our 3rd visit t Desert Rose and it just gets better. We absolutely love this place, the staff are great and very welcoming. There is always plenty of food to eat you cannot go hungry always something for everyone. Lots of things to do or you can just relax if you wish. Plenty of security making guests feel safe at all times. The Guest Relations staff (Lucia) extremely helpful and always going the extra mile. Everywhere is lovely and clean, pools are fantastic. Lots to do for kids too. We will definitely be booking for a 4th time as cannot get enough of Desert Rose.

The hotel has 4 stars. And in the standards of Egypt it deserves it. It's fairly clean. The food in the restaurant is well presented and tasty. The breakfast could be more varied but there is plenty to eat. The hotel has such a medieval style, so despite the fact that it is already old, small damaged furniture, doors and the like fit into the atmosphere. Imaginative. Lots of comfortable sun loungers. Lots of sea. Few pools. There is a piece of the reef. The vendors on the site are not intrusive. I missed coffee and tea in the restaurant during lunch and dinner. Generally, you can safely come. Although you can see some savings due to the situation in the world. And ... and renovations are underway. So they will improve.

I believe the Meraki hotel is allegedly the No. 1 party central hotel in Hurghada. They have a great entertainment team who makes sure there are endless parties. The staff is always attentive and offers great help when needed. There’s one special person who I MUST give a special shout out to, and that’s Naglaa from the wellness and spa team, she is always smiling and serving an incredibly welcoming energy and has been the kindest to us. Others incredible staff includes Osama from front desk; Shady from the Munchery buffet; and Dasha from the entertainment team too. My favorite spot in the whole hotel is definitely the shisha tent, all of their staff were extremely nice, polite and efficient. The only side note I have is the Greek restaurant, although the staff there is attentive, the food can also use an upgrade, other than that, I would love to come back to this hotel in the future, perhaps with a bigger group so we could enjoy the parties more.

The service is timely and effective, the environment is comfortable, and the prices of spa and manicure in the hotel are also reasonable (discounts will be given directly, and the price after various discounts is basically 10%~15% higher than the outside quotes found on Google). The hotel occupies a large area, the pool area is also very large, but unfortunately it is a day to go diving in the sea, come back and have no energy to enjoy. The cafeterias are very rich in dishes and taste good. The two restaurants that need to be reserved have a better taste. During my twelve days in Egypt, except for the first two nights, I stayed in a B&B and then stayed in a five-star hotel. The people were warm and polite. When we saw that we kept saying we love you, China loves you, we were greeted all the way. Various requests for photos were taken, and I met enthusiastic Egyptians along the way. The chartered taxi drivers were very friendly and did not ask for tips. Security checks are required in five-star hotels. I like Egypt so much, but it is a common problem that the network is poor. All hotels cannot connect to the network. of!
