I have stayed with my husband from 27th to 30th Jan for honeymoon trip. It was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel!! I don't know where to start from! Staff was Unfriendly, Unqualified and very rude!! This the least I can say about them. We just checked in me and my husband and we drank the 2 available water bottles in the room, I called the room service to order more water, and he answered "you just arrived, didn't you?"!!! Replied yes!! He said you have 2 bottles every day. He was very rude!! My husband called late in the afternoon and asked them to change the bed sheets and the operator answered him the housekeeping is done for today, we will do it tomorrow!! And we had to spend the night on a dirty bedsheet. And this goes on and on. I really felt that I was being scolded every time I had to ask for something. The place has a nice outdoor garden, swimming pools and Aquapark. But the building and the rooms were old and not well maintained. The furniture inside the rooms were damaged, the table lamp is ancient and dirty. And I beleive they have never had changed or attempted to wash the curtains ever since this hotel was established!! Hygiene is a joke! The cattle was rusted! Tea bags were uncovered. Waste bin not properly working "damaged". In the main restaurant, the food was not fresh, reheated from the lunch to dinner, same items, wrong tagging, no tissues on tables "you have to ask for it. And this bad experience had even worse ending! We booked their transport service which we paid for in advance to take us to the airport. And on time at 5 am we called the driver and he answered in a sleepy voice! He said oops I forgot about your appointment, but I try to be there in 30 minutes!!!! If we were to wait for him we would have absolutely missed the flight. And we had to look for an Uber driver. Luckily we catched the flight minutes before the boarding closure. And the list goes on and on.. We were really sorry for that the resort is relly a huge one with nice facilities. But doesn't have the right management and staff in place. I believe the authorities should take a relook to such hotels which categorized as a FIVE STARS HOTELS!! In order to avoid spoiling the reputation of Egypt in tourism.
