The hotel is strategically located and within walking distance to bus stations, Fahim Plaza, restaurants and the apartment we booked overlook the beautiful sea. Emerald green water that calm the nerves is a sight that is so welcoming from the balcony of the apartment we booked. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and well kept. The washing machine and kitchen made our stay even more pleasant and at ease. The manager, Unais, is super helpful and very prompt in accomodating to our requests and queries. He even sourced out the best island hopping guides for us. I highly recommend this hotel as it is elderly and kids friendly I will definitely come back to this hotel if I visit Maldives again. Overall, our stay was unpleasant. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out. When we entered the hotel they essentially made us feel that we were unwelcomed. No smile, no hello, nothing! I have never experienced this level of hospitality in my lifetime. Room size We had booked a ”Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View” (booked almost 1.5 months before) and it was supposed to be one of the best rooms in this hotel (2nd best to be precise). The room was tiny and couldn't even accommodate our luggage. Bed size It was supposed to be a ”large double bed” but it was tiny that we couldn't sleep well. We had 5 years old - already mentioned while booking. They could have simply rejected our booking by saying that the bed would not accommodate a kid. Bathroom and accessories It was again very small. There was nothing. No hand towel, soap, toothbrush, or sleepers. There was a shower gel and a shampoo. And some tiny lizards in the bathroom which was scary for my kid to use the washroom. I must mention that one of the staff was helpful in getting rid of one of those lizards we encountered and I had to shoo the rest of them away by myself. Pricing on Booking.com We paid 336$ for two nights on booking dot com and expected better rooms and services but the actual room cost which I got to know at the hotel was only 80$/night which explains why the services were not great. Booking dot com definitely fleeced us. You can directly reach out to the hotel to book the room if you're interested. Also, we had planned to spend two days in the city to explore after spending a few days on a private island. Though one day was enough to explore the city! Overall, it is a 2-star hotel and not recommended for a family. Good for solo travellers for a short stay (not more than a night). I would not recommend this hotel to a couple! The only positives were the sea view from the room and the location.

We had a nice experience at this hotel, they were really warm n nice. Breakfast spread could be improved but for the price they r selling and the property being beach front I guess this is great. We were here for a quick transit to catch our flight as it would be longer if we transit directly from resort. Best part this hotel gives free to and fro transferd for free.

Great hotel! Just next to the beach, the beach is so beautiful, the hotel is very new, the bed is very comfortable, and it is very clean, everything in Maldives is so beautiful, it feels like being in paradise. The breakfast is very delicious and there are many types. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for vacation. Thank you for all team staffs. We are looking forward to come again.

It’s right on the beach in Hulu Male, very clean, and the service is very enthusiastic. You can book a pick-up and drop off when you write an e-mail. We are in Male’ and we will board liveaboard after two days of staying.

We were so Happy to be the guests of Amber Beach, as the personel treated us in such a good way! They were helpful, helped us to arrange AirPort transfer, Taxi to the city centre, gave us many useful tips and even printed boarding cards. Many thanks to Bugy who is the best hotel manager we have met! Rooms are clean and breakfast is perfect (local and european food). Again - Big Thank you to Amber Beach Team!

We stayed here for the second time before catching our flight home after a dive trip. It is fine for one night, the room was clean and the air con worked great. This island is man made, so space is at a premium. We booked a twin in the hope that we might have a bit more bed space, but the floor space was not really big enough to have both our dive bags open at the same time. However the staff were absolutely delightful. The rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food and service was great. We had to leave at 5.15 and there was a lovely breakfast spread out with yogurt and juices and fruit beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The room itself is in good condition, it was clean, the bathroom is clean, the location is like all the hotels in Hulhumale on the coastline. A very big minus is that in the morning at breakfast there was only one person from the staff!! He prepared breakfast for everyone, served it, received guests at the reception, called a taxi, carried luggage, it's terrible. People have limited time because everyone without exception has flights on the plane and here such a disgusting attitude! As a result, after 30 minutes of waiting, I did not wait for breakfast and checked out because I was late for the plane. There is a construction site next door from 8 am to 8 pm, so you will not be able to sleep. Overall rating 3 with a minus.

Unless I asked to exchange towels with fresh ones, they didn't do that. Moreover, unless I asked to give me free bottled water and complementary tea bags or coffee etc., they didn't give me. They never came to my room to clean and make a bed during my nine-day stay. If I asked to do whatever I wanted, they would do it. On the other hand, the stuff were friendly and if I asked something, they would do. I hoped them to clean and exchange towels, leave bottled water etc. without asking. About the shower, hot water came out only at the beginning for a few minutes, and then the water wasn't hot enough. The hot water at the beginning was too hot to take a shower. I could hear even the sounds of plates and people's talks. If you don't mind the noise and asking to do something, the location is good. The Inn is in front of the ocean. Since the price of the room was affordable, I could endure. If you ask to pick you up in advance, it cost $20. but when I asked a taxi from the hotel to the airport, it cost only $10. Since I didn't take any meals at the inn, I bought food at some restaurants and ate in the room. If someone wants to save money, this is the good way. I think I only spent under $100 for the nine days without the accommodation charge. When I asked to pick me up at the airport, I didn't get any answer from the Inn, but a driver came to look for me to pick me up. I wished they would have given me a reply.
