BEWARE! Upon arrival I found the room in filthy condition.
*Filthy sofa-bed (debris, vaseline, rag, inhaler) found b/c I could not find the TV remote.
*Sticky floors under the kitchen table and entryway to the main bedroom
*significantly stained couch/sofa-bed
*repair tool sitting next to lamp in the 2nd bedroom; did not dare use the lamp
*medicated eye drops in windowsill of main bedroom
This left us very uneasy as the unit had very obviously not been properly nor thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. And cleanliness was of the utmost importance to us given the purpose of our stay was to visit my BIL who is in critical care at the hospital nearby.
I requested a refund for the 3 of 4 nights that went unused due to a gross oversight of not only standard cleaning practices, but most certainly of the "enhanced cleanliness measures" advertised on Forenom’s site. I provided pictures to Forenom which strangely did not concern the Forenom customer service team.
I received the following response:
“There will be no refund. If there would have been any problems upon arrival the guest must contact us and we will change the room or in other ways help out to solve the situation. This has not been made in this case and therefore there will be no refund."
The accommodations were definitely not as described & customer service completely lacked empathy & regard for these circumstances despite evidence of wrong-doing on Forenom's part.
