Sonder at Bayou on The Bend

Easy to get to Museum District, Aquarium and Hobby Center. 2BR Unit 511 had nice furnishings and large kitchen. 2 pools, one on roof. and well equipped fitness room, off of the Nice lobby area and overlooks pool. Starbucks coffee station. 3BR Unit 622, would not cool properly. On top floor, and loft wouldn’t cool down. A/C filter hadn’t been changed in a while. Stair carpet stained and wasn’t vacuumed well after previous guest. Small Kitchen. Can’t open cabinet door next to oven, because it’s too tight.

This was a good place to stay overall. If your key fob works properly then you have access to the pools, garage to park your car and building if it’s after hours. My husband and I stayed here because we wanted a change of scenery from the last Sonder we stayed at a few times. Both are equally close to MD Anderson where we needed to be. This place has a game room, pools and places close enough you can walk to eat. Nice neighborhood! Everyone in the building was nice and friendly. Even though Sonder says on their website/app NO PETS (even the really cute ones) that doesn’t apply to the neighbors you will have. The place is a luxury living apar**ent building. I guess Sonder rents out a few rooms. It is a good place but you have people out all the time walking their dogs and some of them bark ALL THE TIME!!!

We stayed few nights at the Bayou on the Bend. Building has lovely common areas, is in a good location. The unit was clean and had everything one could need for a very comfortable stay. Wish it had one more office desk as we had to work from home. Also the particular unit had a lot of street noise. But overall great location and felt safe and comfortable.

SONDER at bayou bend has a “chic sense”, with great amenities, incredible location, good apar**ent layout, provided of everything, the administration service team is great. The building is clean and has great maintenance.

We enjoyed this place, location is great, very friendly environment, the building is in great conditions. I only suggest to change the sofa bed mattress. We enjoy amenities, specially the “coffee lounge”, has plenty space to work or spend time.
