It was a struggle using the key cards for the room. Had to attempt multiple times on both cards before getting in. Person at the desk reprogrammed and provided new cards. Issue did not go away.

Housekeeping staff was accommodating. The breakfast was substantial. Good location and very near most venues and restaurants.

The property was conveniently located to the Convention Center & this was a HUGE plus for us. Breakfast & staff were wonderful also. HOWEVER there is a nightclub I’m the vicinity & we heard LOUD music ALL NIGHT. The rooms have also been updated DIY style as in carpet simply laid on top of other carpet. Other than that it was a safe place to rest.

We chose this hotel for our visit to the Astros Foundation Collegiate Classic baseball tournament at Minute Maid Park. Not knowing ANYTHING about the downtown Houston area, we were absolutely enthralled with the area! This hotel was in walking distance to everything - Toyota Center, Convention Center, Minute Maid park and the Avenida pedestrian area with hotels, restaurants and shops all along the way. We walked back from the ballpark each night and felt completely safe. The hotel itself was fantastic. Every single staff member greeted us as we walked by and were so friendly. The front desk staff was beyond helpful with any needs we had. The hotel provides a warm breakfast service each morning. Even the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly. Our room was a king suite with a separate small living area with sofa and coffee table. We had a small kitchenette area with a small refrigerator, sink and keurig coffeemaker. The bed was very comfortable. No complaints about the large bathroom either. It is an older property, but everything was super clean and maintained. This will be our go-to destination for future outings!

My room was on the 3rd floor. When the elevator opened I was smacked in the face with the most horrid smell. Half of the floor was closed with a plastic wall. Came to find out it was a sewage issue. I wish they would have reached out to let me know before hand so I could decide if I still wanted to stay. It was disgusting. Not nearly as nice as it was when I stayed in 2016

Great location and an adequate breakfast. The hotel is just so ‘hurt.’ Our shower leaked everywhere, the cabinets were damaged, the furniture broken, etc. The beds were great. We stayed here for the pool and headed there right at after we arrived about an hour after check-in time. The staff was treating the pool with chemicals as we entered the room. Didn’t caution us nor locked/closed the room to the chemicals even though we had small children. Not a bad place, certainly not a great place considering the price

This property was nasty inside and out. Limited parking and vending machines broken. Worst time for the $$$ we paid!

There was a loud noise like bass speakers booming until almost 4 in the morning. It was very disturbing.
