I preferred a Marriott stay. But this brand is exceptional. Very modern and accommodating. I would stay again.

Ljubomir is amazingly helpful with our luggage and the door. I enjoyed staying here abd will love to come back again. Amazing and respectful staffs. Beautiful from the main entrance to the rooms. The only thing confusing was were to check in on the 7th floor. Beautiful hotel I most say. My wife is happy.

This hotel was exceptional! The staff were superb. We stayed in one of the suites and the thing I enjoyed the most was the water room!! It was by far the best use of space and such a pleasure using the shower and deep sunken tub! I also enjoyed the vanity station. Again the entire bathroom was designed spectacular. On our first day arriving we had the pleasure of meeting Omar! Each day he greeted us with a smile and exceptional service. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting the Houston area. Its location is great! The car service offered is very nice. Our driver Charles was very knowledgeable about where to go and what to eat.

My stay at the Thompson Hotel was wonderful! The personable service was incredible. Omar and Charles made me feel so welcome. If I’m ever in Houston again I know where I’ll be staying! The access to the gym next door was such a nice amenity.

My overall experience was perfect. Topped off by the front desk and the extra care they gave me. A special thank you to Ben and Arianna!!! Being vegan isn’t always the easiest thing when traveling, but Ben and Arinna went above and beyond to help me find something to eat. They arranged for a bowl of fruit and trail mix to be placed in my room!! I understand the hotel had just opened so options were limited, this act of kindness and compassion cannot be understated. It made my day and I’m still thinking of a way to properly thank them and the rest of the team. Moments like this stay with you forever and I’ll be forever thankful for people like Ben and Arinna and the whole team at Thompson Houston. Take a bow Thompson because you perfected the experience!!

Excellent staff - friendly and helpful! Best valet service I’ve encountered. Tranice was especially good. The location is central and very easy to access. The food was also very good.

Ben and Joy at the front desk were so welcoming, helpful and accommodating! Mary Kim + team at the spa made treatment an absolute dream! Eduardo, Loubamir and Charles at valet didn’t let us lift a finger and handled all my gear so gently. Service was 100/10 for our stay, thank you all so much!!

AMAZING HOTEL! The Thompson Houston is a new addition to the luxury hotel market in Houston and it might be my new favorite hotel in Texas. The smell of aromatics is continuous throughout the entire hotel. Breakfast at Sol 7 was fantastic every morning. What sets this hotel apart from the rest are the team members. Omar and Eduardo always greeted us by name every time we entered and exited the hotel, always offering if they could be of assistance. Mary at the front desk is the kindest front desk agent you will find anywhere. My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing the spa and Mary Kim was such a delight. We can't wait to enjoy the pool once it opens up. We are already planning our next trip back!

Omar was outstanding. He met us as we arrived and professional, friendly and personable. Omar is an excellent ambassador for the property. The rooms were impeccable and the mini bar/snack bar were adequately stocked. The view from the room looked out onto the downtown skyline and the kids loved just observing the hustle and bustle.
