"The hotel lobby is opulent, but the rooms are tiny. The hallways are long, narrow, and feel very claustrophobic. Getting to the gym and pool involves walking down a distant, cramped corridor that feels like a maze, adding to the claustrophobia. Plus, the pool wasn't even open. The room itself was so small you could barely turn around, and the twin beds creaked loudly with every movement. I booked this room a week in advance for 900, but by check-in, the price had dropped to just over 600. The hotel refused my request to adjust the booking. To make matters worse, I was assigned what seemed to be one of the smallest rooms available. My request for a late check-out until 2 PM was also denied by the front desk. For this price, both the room and the service were extremely disappointing. Last week, I stayed at a Courtyard in Sha Tin for just over 700 and even got a free upgrade to a river view room, which was also very spacious. There's really no comparison. Eventually, Trip.com's concierge helped me get a 200 refund. Overall, this hotel has a 5-star lobby but 2-star rooms – definitely try to avoid it. It's fine if you just want to use the lobby, but I wouldn't recommend staying in the rooms."
