Just need some where to lay your head and reset; this is just the place. Inexpensive and located in a great spot.

We visited Lumberton and stayed at this location. Only reason why we stayed here is because La Quinta had a bad mildew smell in their rooms. Nice staff, check in and out was a breeze, no pets and no smoking allowed, beds were good BUT need to improve on their breakfast.

Worst hotel experience. Charge $50 deposit for your stay, claim there's one towel missing from the room I stayed and won't return my deposits. It's one side story from the hotel. There's absolutely no wifi signal in the hotel room. Definitely not come back to any Microtel.

Newer building. Clean, comfortable room. Very quiet. The building is set back from the road so it was a little tricky to know exactly where to turn into the property off Hwy 150/John Hawkins Pkwy even using GPS. Easy on access to I-459 and I-65.

VERY UNSAFE AND FILTHY! The bathroom floors had leftover hair and dirt. There is no emergency generator so when the power went out we had to carry our 6' 200lb uncle down three flights of stairs that HAD NO EMERGENCY LIGHTING. The stairwell doors were propped open (a serious violation according to the Fire Marshall). We asked to speak to the manager. Not there. We called the next day and the manager STILL wasn't there and the staff had no idea when, or if, the manager would be coming in. We left our info but the manager never called! Apparently Jess doesn't care one bit about the customer experience. When we complained to Wyndham Hotels corporate office, The Microtel finally offered us a 20% discount on a future visit. Seriously? You think there's ANY chance we'll EVER stay there again? Not on your life because you risk EVERYONE ELSE'S! NO WAY, NEVER, NOT EVER WILL WE STAY AT YOUR HOTEL AGAIN!

On May 17th, 2024 we visited the Microtel for a basketball tournament. From the beginning, the hotel looked suspicious. There were roughly 3 cars in the parking lot. The lobby looked fine, the last at the desk was SOMEWHAT helpful at the time. The elevator smelt bad, red flag number one, the level we were staying on, level 2, REEKED of mothballs. Once we entered the room, the air instantly thickened up, we ended up going to Walmart and purchasing some air fresheners for the room. But the KICKER was the roach my auntie found in her room! She also has a roach allergy, so now she has to take benadryl. NEVER AGAIN DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Easy check in. Rooms are very spacious. Comfortable beds. Bathroom and floors needs attention to cleaning.

The locks on our door were broken. We had to push a chair under the knob with a large bag all night. There was no hot water in the evening or next morning—only lukewarm. Breakfast opened at 6 am and we went down at 6:15. Nothing was there but two tiny muffins and a freezer waffle. The place was not over run with people, so I don’t think everything was eaten in 15 minutes. My husband complained to the desk clerk and she said “they” were supposed to tell her when the breakfast food was empty. I told her it was empty when we walked in. She just laughed at me. I would not recommend this place and I’m very disappointed in Microtels. Our past experiences with them have been good but apparently they’ve gone downhill. 😕

Hotel was dirty. My husband and I moved rooms twice, the staff was very helpful with that. However, the second room was equally as dirty. Unacceptable. I called the trip advisor plus line and they pretty much told me there was nothing they could do about it. I am very displeased with the whole situation.
