Room (rating 2/5) : room space poorly designed & under-utilised. No table storage in bathroom on the "plentiful" walls & nooks. WET FLOOR : Bathroom shower cubicle glass door copiously leaks water through door gap onto floor (*photo can't be loaded) -- constant slip hazard! had to waste floor towel to mop up after every shower Poor housekeeping : bath liquid & basin hand liquid were already nearly finish and not topped up even after 2nd night. On asking at the Recep, was given a bottle of Hand Wash - photo* ("we use this for hand wash AND for shower & hair") On 4th day, the bottles on the walls were replenished -- and both liquids were clearly not the same (in texture and color). OBVIOUSLY NOT CLEANED : Poor housekeeping : Even after the 4th day of stay, the original pre-existing VISIBLY uncleaned floor under basin -- remains uncleaned. (*photo). And was like that even on our 7th day. Poor housekeeping : one of us had dry chap lip, bled onto the pillow. Although the blood stain was visible, the pillow cover was not changed. "You have to request for change or otherwise we change it every seventh day or upon check out" said 1 recep, but the other fellow recep offered 3 times to come up to change it (good service! - but we declined as that's not her job; it's just poor housekeeping & poor quality check by hotel management.) Proximity but costly (3/5) : might be just 2 bus stops from Schiphol Airport by bus 300 or 397 -- but each ride is 3.90 EUR; which need to be added up further to go to Amsterdam Centraal station
