H1 Hotel

Room is clean, located at a very convienent place (langham place & food nearby), just that, no wifi, no television channel. Overall good.

Disappointed! I booked a night at the H1 hotel for a stopover in Hong Kong. Hotels were pricey there on that date, so l just wanted a clean, affordable place for one night. The photos of H1 hotel didn't look too bad. I got to the hotel at 2:30 pm, but my room wasn't ready. That was okay because check-in wasn't until 3 pm. However, there was a problem with the card machine—it couldn't read my Visa or MasterCard, so they asked me to get $500 HKD from an ATM for a deposit. I returned to the hotel with the cash around 3:30 pm. I was shocked by the state of the room. The door looked like something out of the '70s or '80s. When l opened it, the room was nothing like the photos on Trip.com. It was old, shabby, mouldy, and dirty, with a terrible smell. The aircon was ancient, and the room felt damp. The bathroom was covered in mould, and the bedsheets were stained and smelly. I couldn't stay there and booked the hotel next door instead. I'm not sure why the room looked so different from the photos. It seems like they only refurbished a few floors and rooms. The reception staff also had a very poor attitude.

Was staying here couple of weeks with my family. Service was good, staff all friendly and helpful. But the facilities need a lot of improvements!! 1) Wifi not working at all 2) TV spoil from the start to the end. (Heard from the staff it have been a month) 3) bathroom wash basin cracked 4) Sound proofing poor, every night wake up because of someone come back. 5) aircon lost control, cannot adjust.

Good Location , near MRT and airport bus stop. Value for money.

Love this location, plenty of food around n super easy assessable using MTR .Just come out from Mongkok Exit C4 ,less than 5 mins to hotel. Will definitely book again if I come again.

Like what many have reviewed, H1 hotel is a very strategic location. There are many eateries nearby, the congee stall is a must try. It is also near exit C3 and C4 of Mongkok MTR Station. There is a shopping mall (Langham plaza) just a street away. There is also a wet market behind the hotel that sells very fresh fruits and vegetables (opens 8am- about 7pm daily). You can get your dried goods (e.g. sea cucumber, mushrooms, etc) from there as well. Walkable to many locations in Mongkok like the ladies market. There are also many city buses you can take at the bus stop near the hotel. We didn't take buses as we mostly travelled by MTR. As for the hotel itself, like many have also mentioned, the TV and WiFi does not work. So do be prepared to standby more roaming data if you're planning to stay here. Its a pity we can't watch any channels from the TV (probably bad antenna), but you can probably screen mirror from your devices if you've a HDMI cable. It does not matter much to us as we're mostly out and only back late night. Housekeeping is done every 2 days but on days that there's no housekeeping you can request for new sets of towels or other amenities at the front desk and they'll send it to your room. Soundproofing is not the greatest as well, you can hear people talking along the hallway and doors closing. But it does not matter much to us. The streets are quiet at night so we had a great sleep for the 5 nights we were there. Staffs are not always smiling but they are helpful and friendly if you're polite to them. Overall, will recommend this hotel for its price, cleanliness and strategic location if you're just planning to stay for a couple of nights.

Room size very small and no water provide is acceptable due to the cheap price of hotel. But housekeeping and room clean not very day which didn't inform guess before (but i think it is one of the fundamental hotel should have) Hotel facility is bad e.g. air condition can't control which is too cold and hotel manage by ask us to close, then it is no circulation in room, i need to switch on and off the air condition hourly. Wifi signal available but with "no internet". When i ask hotel they said it like this. I can use one out of 4 nights i stayed. Television can't open at all. Hotel said it lock TV for the whole building with no reason. I think when travel we just need only fundamental things provided. e.g. location, cleanliness, wifi,

The room is nice small but comfortable for bed and pillow also good location connected to Langham Place. Many things to eat and there are local market on the side.

The hotel lied to me!!! In the profile they said they offered internet service and there is NO INTERNET!!! The front desk manager said that no internet is available in this building. Also, no TV signal. You can not watch TV at all in this hotel. They need to tell the guest up front about this. I would have never booked this hotel had I known that there was no internet and no TV.
