Hong Kong Heritage Lodge

Location: the lodge is perched right on top of a hill. So you’re really not looking for immediately proximal conveniences when you book this place. Yet, it isn’t too far from modern conveniences- it’s about a 10-15 walk from the mtr station. It’s a 3-star hotel; facilities in the room are dated but functional. The water in my shower area doesn’t flow fast enough into the drainage system so it clogs up the shower area during showers. But the bathroom is very clean. Also admittedly, the areas outside the room are done well and are actually quite elegant. If you’re looking to stay just slightly away from the hustle and bustle this place is worth considering.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially the cleaning ladies. Fresh supplies of slippers, bottled water and other essentials every day. Love the rooms with a high ceiling and tall windows. Beddings are generally clean.

As with most hotels in Hong Kong this one has the same just-couldn’t-care-less kind of service. Their staff are like humans with a robotic face.

Up a hill and a bit hard to find, could be better signposted

Nice hotel. Reasonable price. Big room for Hong Kong)) MTR Station Méi Foo. Exit B or A is most close. 5 minutes walking.

It’s a place out of reach of ppl, so nice to have a meditation time alone here. Need to climb up few steps that make sure you are not too bulky if you choose here. Clean air and quiet, love here, will come back when me time call out.

A location that you almost must need to reach by taxi, however a great place if you are looking for exploration of chinese cultural and want a more remote place to stay in. Nice and peaceful environment and food in the restaurant is great too

Clean room but far from MTR station, it's a long walk with many stairs as it's in the mountain, there are elevators connecting, the walk to Meifoo station is about 20 mins, winter is ok, but summer is quite hot or if it's raining then it's not so pleasant. Only shower gel and shampoo, don't have soap or hand wash, which is weird in this post COVID era. All in all it's a pleasant stay, very quiet, surrounded by many trees and vegetation which I personally like.

The room was a bit small, but it was clean and had a nice environment. Very quiet and relaxing.
