The gentlemen at the luggage counter (possibly named Thomas and Eagle) were very helpful, assisting us in booking a cab and getting an elevator, and they provided useful information. The shower had a strong stream, and the design of the hotel was good. The cleaner was very friendly, and the check-out process was quick and easy—simply returning the cards at the desk. There was also the option to store luggage before check-in, which was convenient. Across the street, there was a good restaurant called Tai Ji, easily reachable via the walk bridge.
However, the hygiene in the hotel was poor, with ants everywhere and mold in the bathroom. The beds were extremely hard with no headboard, and the pillows lacked support, prompting me to bring my own cushion. The man at check-in, Louis Fung, had a very bad attitude—unfriendly and unhelpful, often responding rudely to questions. Check-in took a long time and, despite offering payment, early check-in was not allowed, which made the experience especially unpleasant after a long-haul flight. The hotel is also quite far from the nearest metro station, requiring a 10-minute walk. While the Hong Kong metro is convenient, it can be crowded, though taxis are affordable.
Overall, I would rate this stay 5/10 as it requires serious improvement.
