Reglisse et Pain d'Epices - Chambres d'Hotes

This is quite a nice b&b. The positives are the location (close to the centre but in a quieter area) the decor (room was done to a good standard) and the host was kind and flexible (we needed to leave early so he opened breakfast an extra hour early for us which was really appreciated) the downsides are the rooms are quite small and with it being an old creaky building and the rooms close together it is LOUD with other people’s noise. I also felt that quite a few corners were cut here. Only one towel per guest. Cheap layered blankets instead of a good quality duvet. 1 biscuit in the coffee tray for 2 people. The same can also be said for the breakfast. Small basket of bread and croissant on the table with jam and a few small extras on a tiny table. (Small plate of ham and cheese and boiled eggs) the coffee isn’t great and only one type of juice. If I visit Honfleur again I wouldn’t rule this place out as an option but I feel like with a bit more effort it would be a more appealing option for the price.

Fantastic small BnB in beautiful quiet street with friendly host. It's really well decorated with individual rooms off the small steep staircase. Continental breakfast was served in the small salon - was a pity we hadn't visited the previous weekend when we'd have been able to eat in the small courtyard. The owner's communications were good leaving us good instructions on how to check in even though we were slightly late on arrival. Great place to stay to visit such a beautiful town.

Great location, wonderful accommodations, good breakfast, excellent hosts, what more could you ask for? Answer: nothing! Why would you stay somewhere else? You shouldn’t…close to all the action and restaurants (too many)! Good central location for day trips.

Located in what appeared to be an historic building the a**osphere was charming and it was within easy walking distance of the center of town. The hosts were very pleasant but not very fluent in English, nonetheless they were very helpful and the breakfast was good. However, there is no elevator and the winding stairs made it difficult to get the luggage to our room. Still I would gladly stay there again, definitely a perfect location for exploring Honfleur which is a wonderful town to visit.

Beautiful rooms, perfect position, wonderful host this is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday in Honfleur or indeed, as we used it, to explore the Normandy coastline. Many thanks for Frederick for his kind attentiveness. We will be back.

We enjoyed 2 nights here with our son. Very comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms. We were on the 1st floor and our son was just across the way. Fantastic French breakfast served in the courtyard by our charming host. We received an email before our arrival from our host on which restaurants were his favorite. There are so many restaurants close by to chose from that his recommendations were so helpful. Don't mess out on the great art museum just steps away. Parking is down the street and normally that is not a problem but it was a very busy beach day and not easy to get parking. So very enjoyable!

Nous venons dans cette charmante maison depuis bientôt 13 ans. Quel plaisir Fred est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Propreté nickel et copieux petit déjeuner. Maison idéalement bien placée en plein cœur d’Honfleur, parking gratuit pas très loin

Frédéric est très agréable et au petits soins pour ses clients. Lieu unique plein de charme . Chambre romantique décorée avec soins. Petit déjeuner copieux et raffiné dans un magnifique salon. Très bien situé. Parking gratuit à proximité. Superbe maison d hôte 😀😀

Séjour de 3 nuits dans cette chambre d’hôtes ravissante et idéalement située . Accueil très sympathique, chambre parfaite, décoration de très bon goût et petit déjeuner délicieux . Bonne continuation, nous reviendrons c’est certain !!!
