I Was given the wrong room and no others were available. We had to stay in a handicap room which had no tub only a stand up shower. It was valentines day and I was not too happy with the room we were forced to stay in . It was either except that room or go home

We stayed over for a family wedding. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when in the area and will recommend to friends and family.

This was our second stay. First time room had microwave, mini fridge and hard floors. This time carpet and mini fridge no microwave. The mini fridge did not keep food cold enough, the cooler pack was colder than fridge. The breakfast room had a microwave but it would be much more convenient to have in room. Overall beds and bathroom were very clean. Room had a desk with office chair - chair was very dirty looking. Hotel is very quiet. Hotel is little pricier than others in the area but smaller, more quiet and overall very clean. Would prob stay again but request room with microwave.

We enjoy a getaway here at D Hotel at least once a year.
Friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms with fire place and amazing restaurant right next door!

Spa availability is the main factor for choosing & returning to this hotel, but all staff (front desk, breakfast prep, house keeping) we’re exceptionally helpful and friendly!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I have stayed twice now, both times about a week. I will never stay anywhere else while I’m in the area again. From the minute you pull up the staff is there to help you relax. They will help with your bags, give you information about the area, set you up with the most delicious food from The Delaney House restaurant, bring you a bottle of wine and chilled glasses, refresh your linens, clean your room, set you up with a fire stick and have wonderful conversations. Everything about this last week was perfect. We came to close ourselves off to the world and just spent the week in the hotel. It was peaceful and the king suite was a perfect place to do it. There’s an area to sit and eat, a sofa and chair to watch tv in the living room and a comfortable bed with divine linens and pillows to top off the luxury. The pool was recently renovated and the hot tub is a perfect place for a soak. The fire was blazing in the lobby. There was comfortable furniture and board games inviting you to turn off your devices and relax while Jack Johnson and other mellow upbeat music is playing in the background. I was so refreshed! I can’t wait to stay again!

Good but not great, 3-night stay. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, heater was reasonably quiet, soap, shampoo and towels were ample. There was an event at the Delany House on Saturday night, made it extremely difficult to find parking that night and the noise was disturbing. Breakfast Saturday and Sunday were superb, but the big surprise and disappointment was breakfast Monday morning. Nothing prepared for breakfast, nobody around in the breakfast area. Went to the desk to investigate and discovered breakfast was a choice of several prepared morning meals in microwave containers. Not what we were expecting and completely different from our stay last year. So, we were told they were experimenting with ways to cut food waste and costs. Quite disgruntled that a hotel with the guest rating and reputation of the D. would offer such a meal as you may find at most 1-2 star hotels. Not sure this was a dealbreaker, but we will investigate other hotels for next year's train show weekend.
