I was in town for a business trip and stayed at May-Dee Suites for two nights. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The suite was clean, comfortable, and far more than what I needed. This would be a great place to stay for a longer trip. May-Dee has a relaxed, retro atmosphere - definitely more character and a better value than the resorts that are far more expensive!

Cons: Rooms were outdated, mattresses were thin and uncomfortable, kitchen was ill equipped for making a meal, poor lighting in the bedrooms, floor was updated but filthy (feet were black after walking around barefoot in the room). No maid service during our stay.
Pros: staff was amazing, area was fairly quiet just in an older part of Hollywood.

This is a quaint, Old Florida style property that revived memories of childhood family trips in the 1970s. Yes, there is limited parking, but the suites are spacious and comfortable with plenty of hot water. I loved my stay and would absolutely come again.

In all the places we may see is the cleanness, the rooms has no smell of cigarette smoke, sheets are clean.

Very welcoming and friendly staff from booking to check out! The room was clean and comfortable and although I was only there overnight, it had everything you’d need for an extended stay. Older property with nostalgic feel added to its charm.

The May-Day Suites was very clean, comfortable, and looked just like the pictures. We stumbled across this gem and I am glad we did. The staff was extremely nice, as well as the other guests . We will be back .

I stay here every time i am in fort lauderdale. This my 5 th stay . Staff always nice and friendly. They have clean 1 bedroom suites and pool is well taken care of by staff

The hotel is quaint. It’s literally like your own little apartment. Very cute and extremely clean. I’ve stayed her many times for shows at the Hard Rock.
Would definitely recommend it
