Hotel zwaar in verval. Bad en tegelwerk eens overgeschilderd is volslagen afgebladderd met schimmel langs de randen. Bedden wel goed. Alles maakt uitgebluste indruk.

The property was a nice surprise. The room was clean and comfortable BUT there were a few things that need to be taken care of that are worth mentioning, like the leaking faucet in the bathroom, the light switch as you enter was not working either. You have to go inside a dark room and find the switch to one of the lights. The reception area is not so inviting and the staff can be a bit friendlier and more welcoming. Other than that, the one night that we stayed there was comfortable enough.

Would have liked a coffee maker in room.
Bathroom needs updating, too small. (Can barely turn around trying to close door)
Weak internet at hotel end room.
Poor lighting in room (small table lamps only)
No clock in room
Breakfast was good.

Our room was not ready when we checked in at 4:00. We had to wait for almost 45 minutes to get into the room.

For the price, it was possibly a little better than expected. The room was somewhat run down, and smelled of stale cigarette smoke (despite being explicitly non-smoking), but the heat worked well, and the shower was nice. There were several places to eat within walking distance as well. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable.
Staff were courteous.

Rooms in general are fine; breakfast was great. However, upon check in, could not get tv to work, and to be told “ that I just have to be smarter than the tv” But this staff person also could not get tv to operate w/o log in messages, etc. After 3 times going back and forth to ofc, I suggested to just put me in a different room with a tv that works, to which, I was accused of having an attitude. I was put in a different room, and, tv did not work in that one either. Apparently, a cable was not connected properly in back of cabinet, I guess I didn’t realize that was my responsibility to verify all connections were proper.

We made arrangements to stay, admittingly last minute (earlier in the day). The credit card machine was inopperable, so check in took much longer than it should have. When we arrived, well after check-in time, two of our three rooms were available. One was in the process of being cleaned, and we waited nearly 40 minutes before requesting another room that was 95% done. The refrigerator in this room was missing all the shelves (room 210) which were provided from another of our rooms (room 209). The third party in our group stayed in room 212 and had an unworking heater. A trip to the front office garnered a space heater. The breakfast was adequate, but often empty on eggs and sausages. On our last morning there a group of local high school girls came in and helped themselves to the breakfast, leaving almost nothing for the guests staying there. For a last minute booking, I guess you could say we got what we paid for.
