Mercure Hotel

quite clean and very spacious room !! with room makeup services available !! good city view and is at quite a centralised location , with some bus stops around the vicinity or walking distances to tourist attractions like 内蒙古民族商场 on one side and 宽巷子 on the other side !! right beside is a park called 青城公园 and it is quite a pretty and big park , can do a short morning walk to start the day !!! can control the lights , curtains and screen conveniently as right beside the bed only !! the gym is a little small though !! but with sufficient equipments !!

First trip to inner mongolia. Spent a night here after getting off Hohhot Railway East. Note that the hotel is nearer to Hohhot Railway. Took us quite a while to locate the hotel on foot. It shares the same building as another hotel. Amenities are clean. Like that there are on site laundry facilities. Front desk is actually on 30th floor. Reception could have been friendlier and recommend popular food and shopping places.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! There’s a laundry room, and the staff are very accommodating to those who can’t speak Chinese. This was an amazing city, and a day of three nights was just perfect. It has an ideal location and it is possible to walk much of the city.

We changed from Baiyi (Boya) after 2 nights stay. The reception can use some updating, the lifts and such. The room is spacious and good, but safety is not so good as anyone can get into the property as the reception is at level 30th, cause theres people who sneak into other level without having access card by saying their friend are at that level however we ask/directed them to level 30th for assistance. The laundry room has to climb up 2 flights of stairs passing the reception, and next to the so call gym. The laundry facilities is good, just its 2 commercial washer and 2 commercial dryer. Laundry detergent auto dispense, dunno whether fabric softener included. Breakfast is nice, is terms of taste n variety. BAIYI breakfadt also not bad, just the flavor less appealing to us. Overall its ok. Staff are very friendly is assisting as we cant read chinese anx only speak basic Mandarin. Overall, its good stay.

The hotel has exceeded beyond our expectation from the amenities to the staff service, to just mention a few. In short, we highly recommend to friends and relatives.

The hotel is in a convenient location and overall quite clean. I rarely ever put a negative review, but this hotel does not make one feel safe at all that I would not recommend this for single females. There was one good worker who allowed me to use their personal phone number to help order takeaway, which I am appreciative of. Hence I have put 2 stars for service instead of 1. The room when I arrived smelt like cigarettes and I noticed cleaners smoking indoors. The toilet does not flush properly. Most of all, despite the room having the Do Not Disturb sign, on multiple occasions I have been woken up to knocks at the door. Every single day. This is not normal practice and have had my door opened despite the Do Not Disturb sign on. I am surprised that room cleaning also happens at 9am at times. For the price, I would not pay for this much. Especially considering the Shangri-la around the corner is a little more expensive and significantly better.

researched this station. so the room i chose was very dirty. I told the hotel staff and changed the room. They improved my room but it was not clean and covered in dust. there was blood next to the bed 😢
