🙂The location is great and offers great views of Safari. Ideal hotel for bush-breaks. The hotel is new, so the facilities are perfect. The kids club is great, spacious and has a full time care-taker on site. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food and fresh fruits. A’la Carte food is delicious and has a great variety although lacking South African staple food. 😔Incorrect Room - I had booked a Mountain Facing Room for my 2 nights Xmas stay, however I was allocated a standard/garden facing room(Room 141). After highlighting this with the receptionist he was adamant that the room is Mountain facing even though it clearly was not, as there was no visible mountain from room 141. The following morning I followed up again and the two gentlemen( Kabelo & Relax) who were working at the front desk were able to assist with reallocating the correct room for me after which they gave me room 216, which was mountain facing as per my booking. Food - For a safari hotel, it would be great to have South African staple food available such as pap(Real South African pap, Not sticks) on A’ la Carte menu. Waiters- The waiters need to pay attention to detail, on the 1st night(Buffet) my table had no cutlery which was not a problem, however I had to request for the cutlery 2 times until on the 3rd time I had to go collect it myself because no one was bringing it despite having requested. Senior waiters seem to get the job done quicker and attentively, however the younger ones requires frequent probing. I was told however that the hotel is relatively new, so my assumption is that a lot of young waiters are still on training/probation, so this can fairly be overlooked for now and hopefully it gets better as they used to the job.
