Premier Inn Hitchin Town Centre

I stayed here with my wife and son when our house was flooded. Most of the staff were good apart from one receptionist, who stitched me up because of her laziness. I asked the receptionist to extend our stay. She told me to do it online to save money. I asked her if we could have the same room, she said she would put a note on it to keep it for us. When I tried to book online, I couldn't, so I went back to her to get help. She just said "it's not available". I said that was a problem and she said I could go elsewhere for one day then come back, which is obviously a bit silly. Also the bacon was nasty. Not sure if off or just very low quality.

We were greeted upon arrival by a member of staff named James who welcomed us onto the premises with a courteous smile and gracious manner. The hotel is well situated and was easy to find. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was of a high standard and great value for money. We felt the service of this hotel was outstanding and the helpfulness of the night manager James made it more of a pleasant stay and we will definitely return.

Convenient location in town centre, comfy bed. Windows wouldn’t open so felt stuffy and ventilator not working in the morning

This is the second time I have stayed at this particular Premier Inn and was pleased to see the high quality of service and attention to detail still remains. This hotel is situated in an ideal spot close to local amenities. It is clean and great value for money. On arrival, I was greeted by James, who was charming and professional. He was able to help with a personal issue for me and ensured that I was satisfied with the outcome. It was so nice to be greeted by a friendly face.

Claire on reception was incredibly helpful, there was a small issue on my booking and she went out of her way to assist, as well as answer lots of questions about the local area. Location is great, too, with ample parking in church and woodside car parks.

Had a nice stay at the Premier Inn in Hitchen. The hotel is located in a great position within the town. Room was very clean and showers lovely. I would like to say thank you to James at reception for being so welcoming and helpful on our arrival.

I live in Hitchin and had 3 friends visiting so we booked 2 rooms at the Hitchin Premier Inn. Our rooms were right at the back of the hotel and very quiet. Claire checked us in early for no extra charge. I thought I had booked twin rooms but Claire very kindly made up the extra beds for us. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn in Hitchin and had a great experience. The hotel is well-located, with clean and comfortable rooms. What really stood out was the exceptional service from Abi and Nat, who were both friendly and incredibly helpful, making my stay even better. While the price was a bit high, the excellent service more than made up for it. Overall, a pleasant stay, thanks to the wonderful staff.
