Der Gollinger

Be warned - tried to charge us double for ham and cheese toasties. We didn’t stay, just stopped for lunch which was average. At the end when we came to pay the waiter bought us the bill and the toasties we had ordered were double the price what they were in the menu. I tried to challenge him and he was saying we hadn’t paid for two drinks when in fact they actually owed us money. The manager came over and sorted but it was all a bit embarrassing and unnecessary.

We had a very good skiiing holiday with family and friends (group of 12) at Der Gollinger Hotel in Hinterglemm. Rooms in the hotel were very comfortabel and clean. A lot of storage space, good shower and bed. Breakfast was good with a variety in yoghurt, bread, fruit, eggs, salmon etc. Also dinner was perfect , with in general a 4 or 5 course meal with salade buffet, soup, choice of main dish and dessert. A tastefull but also affordable winelist en cozy bar. The staf and owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful were needed. Location of the hotel almost in the city centre, 50 metres to the skipiste and 200m to the skilift. So very good cosy (not to big) hotel. We will come back for antother skiing holday.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The room was large and comfy and very clean. The staff are all very friendly and gave me a lovely birthday surprise. The food was excellent. The location for skiing is ideal - short walk to the gondola and can ski back to the hotel gate. Would definitely go back again.

This is a very friendly family run hotel in an excellent position for the ski slopes. You can ski back into the hotel and the lifts are located just a 5 minute short walk away. The resort is fantastic for all types of skiing with excellent facilities for children. The hotel really is a gem and finished inside in beautiful wood as a typical Austrian house. The food is exceptional and staff, who really make it, are fantastic. The owners Yvonne and Gerhart are very hands on and always present to ensure you have a perfect stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I were looking for something relaxing and comfortable, somewhere we could really feel at ease. We found it! Upon check-in, we were greeted by Giovanni with a big smile and a warm welcome! Our room was great, very clean and comfortable, I am a bit picky about the bed, but this one was comfortable enough for a few nights. The view from our balcony was superb! and I sat out there many mornings and evenings and just enjoyed the quiet and the clean fresh mountain air! The food was amazing as well! Breakfast was not typical, as there was more served here than in the last 5 star hotel I stayed in. And it was great, rolls, fresh baked breads, jams, cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts, many different milks, fried eggs, and my favorite was the scrambled eggs and the bacon next to it, very good food! The decor is traditional, but with a modern flair, it looks just great, and really gives you an inviting and warm feeling! Dinner was also amazing, one night we had a grill buffet night, one night a soup fondue, and every night a 5 course meal! Everybody who worked there was super friendly, and we are already planning our next trip to this wonderful place! btw ... the location is fantastic, and within walking distance to .... well, everything in this town, its a small town but still, its a great location! A grocery store down the road, but you will not need to buy food if you get the half board! They feed you way more than enough! Water from the tap is okay. Coffee is good, but I am a coffee snob, so that's on me. I really have no complaints here at all, even the other guests were nice! We will be going back, that is a definite!

Great hotel in a perfect location. Right next to the ski slopes and walking distance to all the amenities. Staff were all really friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel had everything we needed, bar, restaurant, ski room and spa. I would definitely recommend and thanks again.

Like every year we went to der Gollinger for our ski holiday. As always the receipt was friendly. It is like coming home. At one of the days we had 3 birthdays in our group. The staff was kind and suprised us wit a champange breakfast. We are looking forward for 2023.

Great place with great food. I was skiing Saalbach this year - hotel and its location is perfect. If you want to spend nice holiday, you can chose this hotel. There is a lot of slopes for skiing in the winter, during the summer for hiking🙂❄️🏔️🔝 100% satisfaction🙂

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub ,mit einem tollen Wetter. Hinterglemm ist immer eine Reise wert, und im Gollinger Hof haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist super nett gewesen so wie auch die Gastgeber. Aber auch die zentrale Lage zu den Gondeln ist super .
