Escape to your private oasis perched on a cliff with a jungle view

Great property, perfect location If you want to feel like you’re in the rainforest, but also want to be close to town, then this is for you! It’s very close to Old Town Hilo, but doesn’t feel it at all. It’s very pretty and well equipped. Beds sleep great. Great directions for parking and checking in which was done through pictures. Would recommend again and again!

Lovely space in a private neighborhood The rental is a studio with bathroom but no cooking capability ( toaster, minifridge, and microwave though). Host was very responsive and set us up with plates, bowls upon request. Outside the room it is like jungle with coqui frogs chirping all night. We loved the sound, so didn't bother us. Size of space is really only suitable for 2. Location was perfect- close to town and only 45 min to Volcanoes National Park. Would stay here again! Location

Everything was perfect, except for a strong smell Amazing location that is close to town but feels removed. The room is very private. It is part of the rest of the house, but doesn't feel like it. The space was perfect in that it was comfortable and provided us everything we needed. It was clean, the only problem was a strong odor. We noticed it when we walked in every time and it seemed to come and go, at times stronger than other times. We were thinking it may be coming from the bathroom drain and since the bathroom walls are open up top it made the whole room smell. Hopefully it is something that can be fixed because we would stay there again if it weren't for the smell.

What a wonderful spot. Birds and frogs provide an amazing soundtrack!
