Mels Weldon Evergreen Lake Hotel

Buffet is crowded. No bike or motobike renting possibilities. Concierge at the entrance is very good and help us to find paddle and swimming place in river.

We chose the hotel due to the fact that they allow pets. The service was very good. People always helped even though is was more difficult due to the language barrier, since our chinese language skills are terrible. Our initial room which was more expensive for had a great view and we were initially very happy until evening came around and KTV singing started. The sound was so loud you heard inside the room. The room was in section A of the complex. The next day we moved into complex B where it was much more quiet, but the room was not as nice. Since the hot spring area was out of service during our visit we received vouchers for afternoon tea instead which was more like a whole meal. Breakfast buffet was great and on the days where there there was no buffet due to only a few guests staying they would serve lots of food to your table. There is also a new walking trail kind of starting behind the hotel complex which offers great views onto the lake. All in all we had a quite pleasing stay.

The hotel is not the newest but our room was big and clean. Buffets are OK, the swimming pools are great, and the staff is nice. Pity that there was no furniture on the balcony.

酒店大堂寬闊整潔，休息廳夠大夠多。衞生乾淨，環境優雅。選擇的時間不是旅遊旺季，就是選了比較安靜人少的季節，不跟人擁擠，舒適享受假期。到店大堂經理還給升級了湖景房，本來打算住一天的行程直接換成住兩天，巴適。贊贊

設施：酒店的設施比較舊，但是住的很舒適 衞生：房間的衞生還是比較乾淨整潔，就是房間的地毯污漬稍微多了一點，廁所和浴室很乾凈，沒有水漬 服務：前台和服務員的響應很快，無論是多要幾瓶水還是説入住時候遇到的問題都很貼心並快速解決 是寵物友好酒店，給了200的清潔費，不過沒有讓我覺得這200很值得，沒有提供相應的寵物服務。房間的風景還可以。贈送的曲奇餅乾潮了，這個還是要注意一下

酒店位置優越，在萬綠湖邊，周圍環境優美，酒店大堂寬敞舒適，設計感很強。前台服務態度很好，免費為我升級了房間，送的下午茶很豐盛。房間面積大，床也大，住的很舒服，房間設施也很好，衞生間寬敞乾淨，站在房間的大陽台上眺望外面的湖景，感覺超棒。停車免費，就是酒店入住的人比較少，早晨用配餐方式提供，提供的餐食還是很豐盛的。

湖景房衹能看湖的一個角，不爽。應該叫一角湖景房。房間366。早餐一般，沒有一個好吃的。室內游泳池的水温度是16度的。自助海鮮晚餐還可以，特別是豬腳粉不錯。

環境好，酒店很大，免費升級了房間和延遲退房，湖景很養眼，服務態度很好，旁邊是九里湖畔可以逛逛，湯泉衹有一次，還要下午4點半才開放，離主樓有點距離，又沒有電瓶車接送，温泉池很少，上上下下樓梯，不是很方便，建議增加電瓶車接送和在湯泉裏增加上落電梯。早餐一般般，旁邊有小童波波池，挺好的。

酒店雖然開業有一段時間，但保養、衛生還可以。房間安排在7樓。過年住了一天。整體感覺還可以，因有小童一起入住，叫管家額外多取兒童牙刷及拖鞋亦能很快送進房間。早餐亦不錯，雖然過年很多遊客入住，但亦有足夠的桌椅及地方給人進餐，不用花時間等位。下次來河源玩，亦會考慮這間酒店。
