King Minos Retreat Resort & Spa

I'm so happy me and my family chose to stay at this hotel. The stay here was beautiful. The accommodation was immaculate. The food at the restaurant and pool bar delicious. I want to say a big thank you to Dimitri our host in the restaurant and to all the staff at King Minos. You all are amazing. I will definitely be returning here.

A beautiful hotel that’s been newly renovated. Dimitri and his colleagues are really friendly and welcoming and my family are having a really enjoyable time here in Crete. Food quality is excellent in the restaurant with a nice choice of wine and the pool and pool bar are 1st class! Highly recommended *****

An amazing hotel with very friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to make the stay just perfect. The room was amazing with cold food in fridge on late arrival which was a nice touch. The restaurant was amazing with lovely food and good variety each morning and night. Dimitri in particular, with the rest of the amazing staff made the stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The staff could not be faulted. The pool area was so peaceful and thankfully no fighting for sun beds every day! There were always beds available at all hours of the day. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

My stay at King Minos was absolutely amazing. All the staff were friendly, attentive and willing to go above and beyond to ensure my stay was everything that I hoped for. The staff embrace different cultures and took an interest in my home land (Jamaica). Each day staff member Dimi would check to ensure that me and my family were ok, he is AMAZING and extremely welcoming. My board was half board, breakfast and dinner, each day there was a vast variety of food i.e lamb chops, kebab, satay chicken wings and sea bass (highly recommend) all food was cooked to perfection. All in all an amazing trip!!! I will definitely be returning.

Such a nice experience with my partner as we loved our rooms, restaurants and services as they were very nice, helpful and friendly especially the gentleman Dimitris. I highly recommend here, the resort is luxurious and very clean thanks to the services

The staff was incredible, they treated me like family member, from reception staff , restaurant staff , spa and pool every member of staff went above and beyond . We visited King Minos in the middle of July for my birthday celebration. I couldn’t have faulted anything in the hotel it was absolutely brilliant, unbelievably modern. The rooms were beautiful, we opted for a sea view and private pool which was always a perfect temperature. The service was impeccable, being my birthday on the last day of our visit a cake and bottle of bubbly was brought to our room as a surprise free of charge. The surrounding area is brilliant too, although we were half board we still ventured out to the local restaurants and there are so many choices, I definitely recommend Cretan Blue. I’ve feel in love with this hotel and nothing compared to it in the area, hence why I’ve booked again to visit in April. Thankyou to all the staff at King Minos for making our stay extra special, can’t wait to see you all again.

This hotel is fantastic. The whole team are so welcoming and helpful. From the moment we were welcomed into the hotel we felt at home, the reception room is large and comfortable and feels extremely luxurious. The check in process was easy, we were guided by Maria who made us feel very welcome. Alex helped us to our room, he has a wonderful smile and demeanour. The rooms are large and so comfortable, our view of the sea is fantastic. The restaurant has an incredible selection, offering multiple fresh vegetables and fantastically cooked meats. We tried swordfish for the first time, and could not recommend it enough! The dessert selection was the best I've ever seen. The pool area is huge and full of comfortable beds and loungers, more than enough to feel you have somewhere private to relax. The pool bar is well stocked and attended, and the ability to grab snacks (if you are all inclusive) is so wonderful. The staff around the pool are so accomodating and kind. The Spa is calm and beautiful, I had a treatment with Sia who was perfect, and was guided by Irene who made me feel special and accommodated for my personal needs. Thank you so much girls. Please allow me to specially mention Dimitri who has helped us so much and guided us for day trips, personally recommending shops and cafes to make our trips feel organised and personal. He is a lovely man!
