Der Seehof

Is this the setting for White Lotus Season 3 or a German version of Fawlty Towers? This hotel has ONE amazing feature, the view. And the owners unfortunately are convinced that this is enough to ask premium prices for a 'suite' that was far below par (see photo of the sofa) and way too expensive (no airco, no bathtub, simple shower, cheap soap in fixed dispensers). In everything you feel that the owners essentially hate clients and only want their money. This is felt in all the small things that make a hotel stay pleasant and comfortable. It's the unfriendly way they respond to questions, the inability to bill drinks and meals on the room, the TERRIBLE beds, the unwillingness to provide information and, last but not least their inability to accept responsibility for their mistakes. In short, this hotel could be the best hotel in the region, if only the owners/managers would understand the meaning of the word 'hospitality'.

I experienced very unfriendly people (different people at different times - from reservation to stay) they did not show to me any willingness to host or serve, no interest in the person but the money. No interest to welcome me or to support my stay with information.

We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel, during October. Our room, the Admiral suite was very clean and spacious, with dining room and living room. Large balcony and splendid lake view. The meals in the a la carte restaurant were very tasteful. Friendly staff. Good choice of wines and beers. The selfservice breakfast is extensive. Wide choice. Large parking space for our car. Easily accessible. A very comfortable hotel to keep in mind.

Nog nooit meegemaakt, meest onvriendelijke management van heel Duitsland, denken dat ze prestigieus hotel zijn maar alles is onder de maat. Kwaliteit eten is echt slecht. Maar van dit alles is de onbeschofte houding (denk aan ons minachtende en kleinerende behandeling) echt echt het allerergste. Nooit naar toegaan is het advies.

Ons seminarie in het hotel was een topper! Zeer vriendelijk onthaal aan de receptie, heel mooi, verzorgde en ruime kamers met zicht op het meer. Ruime badkamer. Ontbijt was rijkelijk voorzien. Het diner was heel lekker en de bediening door de garçon Marvin was zeer vriendelijk en gedienstig, een echte man met passie voor zijn vak!

Einmalige Lage direkt am Rursee Modernes mittelgroßes Hotel in der Nähe des Anleger und direkter Blick auf den Rursee und dem Segelclub mit Schule! Bootsverleih ! Zimmer geräumig und hell eingerichtet. Restaurant mit Wintergarten zum See. Frühstück : Reichhaltig Gastronomie : lecker und vielfältig Preis/Leistung stimmt absolut Parkplatz direkt vor Hotel/Tagespauschale 4 Euro Hunde erlaubt im Hotel und Restaurant Viele Ausflugsziele in der Nähe! Immer wieder gerne

Trotz trüben November Wetter hatten wir schöne Tage im Seehof. Buchung war problemlos per Mail und Telefon, am Abreisetag wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und jeden Tag, ob Frühstück oder Sauna Buchung inkl Bademantel , hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin während des Aufenthaltes war Frau Svenja Görtz, die wirklich immer freundlich und hilfsbereit war, danke. Wir hatten die Admiral Suite mit tollem Blick über den See. So viel Stauraum habe ich noch nie im Hotel erlebt, Einrichtung ist nicht top aktuell, aber völlig okay. Der Saunabereich hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Corona bedingte Buchung war unproblematisch und hat zu jeder Wunschzeit geklappt.
