Residence Inn Hazleton

This hotel stay was perfection...in particular the staff and the condition of the hotel. After dismissing several other hotel options in the area that were closer to the event I was attending, I chose this hotel and I'm very happy I did. Keep up the good work everyone!!!

Very comfortable and friendly. Our room was well setup as a mini suite--although it wasn't. Very nice patio seating with a fire pit (on the night we were there but not necessary as it was very warm). Everything was clean but a bit worn but we were perfectly happy with it and will be back.

Love this clean and comfortable hotel in Hazle Township. It’s super quiet and has a nice gym. I got upgraded to a room with fireplace which was soooo nice. Very cozy to sit near while getting some work done. The bed was comfortable and nice shampoo conditioner and body wash in the shower. Overall a great stay. Will stay again…Love having the fridge too.

IF YOU ARE OF COLOR DONT COME HERE. This hotel looks nice but service is terrible. I had a hard time booking with the manager she made it very difficult for me to book . I Still Decided to stay with them because I only had 4 hours to rest. I was driving from far checked in at 6:40am and was checked out at 11:10am. A couple of days later, I noticed an unauthorized charge. I called the hotel. Christine answered and I expressed my concerns about the charge. She told me it was due to a smoking fee which in fact I don’t smoke. My room smelled not of smoke but of *********. She said where it came from was the bathroom. How can you be falsely accused of something you didn't do and be charged? Instead of resolving the issue, Christine hung up and never returned my call. I am still trying to get a response from management. They are very unprofessional. I was placed on the first floor right by front desk as if I needed to be watched. They judge people and blame them for things that aren't true. If you are of color do not come here. management treated me horribly I was super uncomfortable I just needed rest. I called back after the review the manager answers and tells me an alarm went off . Christine says the cleaning lady smelled *********. Manager laury lied and said a smoke detector went on which is lie because I would have been kicked out my room and obviously a smoke detector can’t detect no smoke :).

I asked for the smallest cheapest room as I just needed some sleep on a 16 hour drive. She put me in a room with a kitchen. I took what I could get because I couldn't drive anymore. I asked her to give me a discount either AAA or senior or because I stay at lots of Marriots traveling back and forth from the Carolins to New England several times a year. She refused any discount. I noticed how dusty it was and stained carpets. 2 clumps of hairy dust in the bathroom. I tried several times to call the front desk. The phone was broken. I was so tired. I slept. The bed seemed clean and it was comfortable. When I woke at 630 to shower and leave I saw how filthy the room was. I couldn't even step into the bathroom without seeing filth. Everything everywhere was very dusty. Place hadn't been vacuumed. I took lots of pics. I will try to post. It really was unacceptable. I want a refund $415. To sleep a few hours in filth!!!!!

Probably one of the best Residence Inn's that I have ever stayed at. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was super friendly. There was even a sign welcoming all of the Elite members. This was the first time I have ever seen anything like that and I've stayed at a lot of hotels! I checked in at around 4pm and there were warm cookies and popcorn in the lobby. Hotel was exceptionally clean. Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

We are currently in room 115 at the bugging was everything perfect but when we came back wasn’t clean most of the time I’m traveling I love to find a clean room plus fresh towels but didn’t happen here so I have to wait until tomorrow 🙁 kinda disappointing for a Marriot Hotel!

5 hr construction delays on I 80 eastbound, got to Marriott at 11:30 pm, and Tracy welcomes us with open arms! Slept like logs, had great breakfast, nice quiet location. It doesn't get better than this...Only downside was that Garmin took us on roundabout to get there!

We were happy to find a very clean hotel when we checked in for a night with our dog. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked well and it was good sized for a studio room. The hallway smelled like pot. Maybe it’s legal in PA? It is in MA where we started our trip from. The free breakfast choices included cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, kielbasa, bananas, juice, coffee, tea, and assorted prepackaged baked goods. It was odd to not see anyone at the front desk when we checked in but they showed up after a little wait. Not a problem . Overall we had a very good stay
