The Lodge Harrogate

Lovely room,comfy bed and a great shower. Just minutes walk from Harrogate town centre. The host was there to meet us and then just let us get on with our stay. Would stay again the next time we go to Harrogate.

A lovely room. It was clean and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had good pressure and worked well. It was near everything shops, restaurants and pubs. The host was great. I am happy to recommend a stay here and if I’m back in the area I will stay here again.

We booked a quick night stay over in Harrogate as we've never been before, it was a very reasonable price for a central guest house so I wasn't really expecting a great deal, thought it would be a bit out the way and small. Was I wrong, it was 5 minutes from everything we wanted and free parking, most central places are charging around £15 a day to park! Although we couldn't check in till 3 we were able to park our car at 11 am and didn't move it till 1pm the next day. The whole place was very clean and our room for what we paid was fantastic, traditional furniture, four poster king size bed, all the usual stuff you would need and even a mini fridge, large windows overlooking the front Street (the Lodge is opposite Harrogate conference centre) but it wasn't too noisy. We were out till late having a drink in a few local bars so when we got back we didn't see anybody it was nice and quiet. We have recommended The Lodge to friends and we will book again next time we visit Harrogate.

Good location, friendly host. Proper Yorkshire teabags as well in the room! The room was clean and functional. Yes the furniture was not modern, but all added to the charm. The bed was comfortable, what more do you need? Good value/good location.

I'd booked a Superior Double room even though I was a solo traveller on this occasion. I contacted the owners ahead of my stay and it was confirmed a superior was "usually a larger room" . I was greeted at check in by a really friendly host which was great. However, my superior room wasn't particularly large. The carpet clearly hadn't been hoovered as the previous guests clearly like talcum powder as it was on the carpet and dusted over the handwash in the small bathroom. When I pulled back the duvet to get into bed I spotted some marks and I hate to say I generally felt the room really did need a good clean. I wiped down the bedside table as it had marks which was really disappointing and the remote control was very grubby. Plus points, great welcome, space in the carpark, room at the back so nice and quiet and a very comfy bed but felt duped because this didn't feel like a Superior room and the cleanliness should have been better.

Thank you very much for the early Sunday morning Take Away breakfast which helped me achieved the Ride Vyking charity sportive in good time, that was hugely appreciated! The room is really lovely and has great amenities. Well done to Kim and Simon for running a top class Guest House in Harrogate. 👏 👏 ☺️

When I arrived , I was greeted in a friendly manner. I was shown to my room and how to gain access etc . In my room it was cosy and was very surprised . It definitely exceeded my expectations. The bed was very comfy and had tea/coffee making facilities. Only thing I would say is a plug next to bed to charge your phone will be ideal . The hospitality overall was very good . Would defo return again . Thank you

Never been to Harrogate before. First time stay For a Event. Stayed at the Lodge in Harrogate. Lovely staff Huge bedroom. All facilities are catered for in the bedroom Tea. Coffee Shower. Iron and board Fan TV Clean and tidy was an understatement It was immaculate. Can’t fault it Will definitely stay again if I’m there Affordable price too.

The accommodation was high quality, with an excellent bed and clean and well appointed en suite. The hosts were very welcoming. Parking was available on site. The lodge is an excellent and convenient location for local attractions
