Whoever did the design here had a fantastic eye! The rooms are as cute as the pictures online with both poster-size prints of locals and cool pop-art design. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant upstairs was pretty good even beyond the free breakfast. And it's absolutely a fantastic location... However, the actual value of the amenities just doesn't justify the price. This was the first hotel in Vietnam where I was provided with refilled used bottles in the room instead of free sealed water. The grout in the bathroom needs to be redone due to active mold. There is a dank sewery smell (managable by always keeping the bathroom door closed). The beds were clean, but like rocks. In the "Executive Triple" we had 2 windows but they looked into a ventilation shaft with no natural light. If I'd paid $50CAD/night I'd be happy as a clam, but at over $100CAD the value wasn't there.

We had a very wonderful stay here. The room was beautiful, with a large balcony from which we could enjoy the view and vibrant city of Hanoi. The girls at the reception desk are all absolutely friendly and helpful. Their hospitality service skills are the best. They are always helpful and ensure everything we need while staying there is met. The staff at the restaurant and the bellboy are also great and friendly. The housekeeping service was also top standard and always made our room perfect. Thank you so much for all the treats, and we will recommend this hotel to other friends, and of course we will definitely come back to stay here again when your trip to Hanoi is necessary.

Eliana Hotel was our first accommodation upon arrival in Vietnam. We were very happy with the service and hospitality of everyone at the hotel. We had a particular server (she wore glasses) every morning at breakfast who was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed chatting with her and the other servers every day. She would kindly explain what foods were available for us with our dietary restrictions in mind. The room was clean and decorated nicely. The only issue is that we booked a room with a view and were upgraded to a slightly larger room without a view. Not a big deal as we were out exploring every day anyways, but it would have been nice to know that this was one of the changes. The hotel is located right in Old Quarter, just a walking distance from many restaurants, shops, and sights. It is also a convenient pick up point for various tours and transports. Thank you for the lovely stay! We’ll be back again :)

The hotel is situated in the heart of old quarter but it is still away from the noise. Most hotels in old quarters are not massive area wise but they are quite elegantly decorated and there is a charm in it. Eliana is situated on a main road and just few meters away from the lake. Our stay here was very enjoyable and all the employees are very helpful and accommodating. There is a Vietnamese and vegetarian restaurant on the top floor and that is really a plus as we are vegetarians. You get a good buffet breakfast too.

We stayed here for almost a week. We loved the location and the staff were amazing. The reception staff were great with advice and recommendations. They always greeted us with a lovely smile. The restaurant staff were fantastic. I can’t remember one name. It was either Grace or Alice ( she was getting a new motor bike when we stayed there) . She was so lovely The other two amazing restaurant staff members were Nana and Ly. Every morning these women cooked us a delicious breakfast and we also went to the Oriana restaurant for lunch one day where Nana showed us how to eat the Vietnamese food correctly. Ly served us a delicious dinner and was so kind and helpful. These three ladies always had time to talk to us and share their thoughts about Hanoi and beyond. They made our stay super special.

I spent 3 nights at the Eliana with my friend. Let me start with the positives. The staff are amazing, so helpful, and very attentive. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the heart of the old quarter. The breakfast is nice too. The negatives. The photos are quite deceptive online. The online photos make it look like a very high end hotel but it’s not. The finishes in the rooms are sloppy; my room had drill holes in the ceiling and paint splatter on the walls. Additionally make sure you book a room with a window (not all rooms have them). My first room had no windows despite me booking a room with an interior window (I asked to change rooms). My friend booked a room with a window but it didn’t have any natural light…the light came from lamps. Don’t think I would stay again unfortunately.

The Eliana Signature Hotel in Hanoi was very good. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The front desk team went out of their way to help us. They proactively let us know they were working on a small problem with the shower. We stayed two nights there and were very comfortable. The room is spacious and the bathroom quite large. The hotel is located steps from the Old Town Hanoi so very convenient. We were really happy with the place and would recommend it to any other travelers to Hanoi.
