Gross facilities, terrible management and customer service. There's no way in God's green earth this deserves its currently high rating. When I pointed out how the floor was dirty, the lady managing the property literally handed me a mop as if to say, "not my problem. You clean it." I was supposed to stay at a nearby property the proprietor also manages, but she overbooked there and told me my only option was to stay here. It took over an hour of waiting and texting with the manager, but with no other last-minute alternatives available, I was sentenced to this dump. I booked through Agoda, and they were no more helpful in sorting out this mess. In fact, they made it worse because they took my partial refund request (which was initially agreed to by the proprietor before she reneged) for the night to mean a full refund request, and canceled the entire reservation. This culminated in calls from the proprietor at midnight demanding that we leave, followed by banging on the door by the on-site manager for a full 30 minutes before they threatened to call the cops. This was, bar none, the worst experience at a hotel in what is supposed to be a vacation I've ever had. Beware of Agoda's customer service. Stay far away from any Sunstay properties like this one and The Autumn Homestay, and probably many more. And don't believe their ratings for a minute.
