Alpine Holiday Apartments & Campground

Loved staying here for a week with family over Xmas & New Year. We had our caravan and our family stayed in an apartment at the grounds. Bike & walking trails are right next door and it's only a couple of minutes to the Township. The peace and quiet was brilliant. Our grandchildren made lots of new friends while camping. A good "old fashioned" camping ground. Tracey and Tony were most welcoming and we would certainly stay again. Thanks for the wonderful holiday :)

Oldish but very clean and functional. Great covered parking for my motorcycle. Nice and quiet. The room kept nice and warm. Very clean toilets and showers. Tracey was very friendly and helpful. Walking around the grounds you could see it is all well maintained.

We recently stayed in Smithy Cottage So comfortable and rustic we did not want to leave. The camp has beautiful grounds, room was super clean & had everything we needed. Thanks again Tracey & Tony for a fabulous stay.

Lovely hosts very accommodating, beautiful and quiet such a lovely place to camp, lots of amazing walks just over the road and the dog loved it, short walk into town, large sites for the caravan definitely our new go to camp ground thank you

This campground offers a quiet location near the forest. We were in a camper so can’t comment on the apartments. The grounds, playground and amenities need some maintenance. Bathroom and laundry areas could be cleaner.

We planned to stay at an unpowered site, but promptly after arriver and setting up our tent one of our group members was harassed repeatedly by an abusive person staying in the cabin next door. We left immediately as we felt extremely uncomfortable, and let the owners know as soon as we had left and requested a refund. No contact was made, followed up two days later and was told no refund would be given as the owners had talked to the people who had harassed us and decided that we were lying. This was without asking us what happened or attempting to rectify the situation. Still no refund and are ignoring subsequent contact, so am leaving a bad review to let others know: Don't stay here as this business doesn't take harassment seriously

Really enjoyed our short stay, we had originally booked for two nights but ended up staying just one due to weather and wanting to return home. Our accommodation was basic but very clean and suited our budget. Nice curtains by the way Tracy! :) Tracy couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Just stayed at the Alpine apartments and holiday park. Booked for two nights as we were horse riding in the morning. Unfortunately the horse riding was cancelled due to weather so we had no reason to stay the second night. We left a day early and thought we would receive a refund. We were told no as it was not in the cancelation period and they were running a business. I completely understand this if they were fully booked and had to turn bookings away, however we were were the ONLY ones in the tenting area. A little common sense would be nice. The horse riding gave us a full refund and we will return in February to try again. We would also have rebooked at the camping ground had they been a little more amenable. Unfortunately I'll now book somewhere else.
