This resort has a fantastic setting on Tangalle beach and has a lovely pool and other facilities. Restaurant has a wonderful setting on the beach and we enjoyed an excellent dinner there. Rooms and bathroom very large.
Unfortunately there are 2 negatives
1) fairly isolated only a few other resorts close by- Tangalle centre about 3 km away
2) The WiFi is bad. WiFi only in restaurant and lobby and not great there. In 2024 this isn’t good enough

Lost our wallet in restaurant table with valuables. No other guests at that moment only hotel staff. I talled it to hotel manager and he act strange. He did nothing. When i was trying to talk with hotel Manager he always about to fight with me. Funniest thing is CCTV camera belongs to that table was not working. Thats what they said. Hotel manager tried to cover it. Anyway we dont wanted to waste our time in police. I never recommend this place to anyone. Baddest staff. Some other guests faced same thing with there jewelleries. Dont select this hotel to spend your holiday.

The rooms were very spacious, the balcony was quite large, the swimming pool was well maintained and had an attendant on duty where there was a pool-side bar as well, a baby pool too, the restaurant was very good especially the a la carte items of sea food. The breakfast was good with a variety of local dishes as well as the usual 'western' fayre. We noticed ( and they corrected after we told them immediately) that some of the chafing dishes did not have the burners on to keep the food warm. The service was outstanding with the staff very quick to respond and suggest too. Adam and Esala were the names we remembered. Locvation was perfect, by the beach on a large plot of land. Tangalle town was probably about 10 minutes by car or 15 mins by tuktuk

The service is poor , the cleanliness is appalling, house keeping is the worst we hv ever experienced. Reception is not responsive. Stained towels. Except breakfast lunch & dinner is quite basic. A very laid back manager who keeps giving excuses fr everything. They keep posting positive reviews by themselves. U need to call 4 or more times to get any request attended to. Location is beautiful. Yet a badly run hotel.

Beautiful place run by fantastic hospitable personalities. We were checked in by graciously we were made comfortable and our fears were laid to rest my quick thinking receptionists. The rooms were big and comfortable and clean. The pool is simply sensational with filters working full time. The pool bar person was really hospitable and caring. The resort dining is on the beach which is about 2-3 min and the view is exceptional with delicious food. The restaurant is called big crocodile restaurant and I have put a seperate 5* review on it. Breakfast was also yummy and had mix of continental and traditional food. General manager Shane was on hand and was a delight sharing the joys of Sri Lanka. Great spot right on the beach, hotel rooms and grounds well maintained and staff go out of their way to be helpful. My only disappointment was you are to far from anywhere else to eat or drink. Most meals were good but the seafood was way over cooked. Breakfast selection was good.

Great food! Great service! Reservation was done on the day itself and the reception was so helpful and quick to reserve us a room. Sampath from the restaurant was so accommodating and attentive. Overall, a great place to stay in.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a hotel that displayed a shocking lack of organization and diligence, leading to the cancellation of our booking. We had made a reservation for a week within New Year's Eve dates, not knowing that the overall price was at normal rate as the hotel's system was apparently in error. They insisted that we cancel the booking ourselves, and re-book the hotel for DOUBLE the price, clearly trying to avoid any responsibility or financial obligation to ***********. This kind of behaviour is not only unprofessional but also incredibly disappointing. It leaves customers like us feeling taken advantage of and left in the lurch. I strongly advise against booking a stay at this hotel. Their utter lack of professionalism and their willingness to exploit customers during a popular holiday period is unacceptable. I am determined to share my negative experience with as many people as possible to ensure that others are not subjected to the same disappointing treatment. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

It was a super vacation. We stayed at a family room since I had three kids and it was very clean and spacious. Even the pool is nice. The view is breathtaking specially the beach is beautiful and clean. The food was fantastic. Wish there was more variety on Breakfast seems like everyday the same menu. The staff is friendly and it is a peaceful vacation for a family.
