Fantastic sunday menu including roast, on the terrace. Great service (although there is no table service outside). Spacious car park, friendly locals, good wine menu. Definitely in my top 5 restaurants around the North West for a sunday roast.

This was our second night stop on our way back from Scotland. It is set in a secluded location and the surroundings are beautiful. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The towels were perfect! The staff were friendly and the food was lovely.

Had a 3 course Christmas meal at Shibden meal inn…. Reasonably priced for the time of year. The focaccia was lovely, as was the torched trout. Terrine a little firm, stone bass good. The turkey dinner was disappointing (something I don’t normally have) as it was smothered with over-seasoned gravy; which sadly spoiled the whole experience.

It was a fabulous stay in the Inn, exceptional breakfast made by the genius chef Emma and served with a warm morning smile by Lilly. The fiid was home made locally sourced and delicious. The rooms were beautiful, warm, cosy and full of extras. We love this place.

This was our third time visiting Shibden Mill Inn. It was as perfect as always. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous, with a huge comfortable bed and roll top bath. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and the Christmas decorations were the finishing touch to a perfect stay. Thank you.

We were a party of 10 out for our annual Christmas meal. Eight of us chose the pork for our main course which whilst we were warned it would be pink we did expect it to be tender. However, it was so tough and fatty we were unable to cut through it and at the end of the meal most of it was left on our plates. Our lovely waitress duly apologised and informed the kitchen but no one from either the kitchen or the management came to see us to address our concerns. We were very disappointed with the food as a whole, particularly as we had been the previous year and the food had been lovely. The 3 stars given are for the young waitress who couldn’t have been better.

Absolutely sublime & the perfect birthday meal. So difficult to choose what to order as everything is delicious. Lovely staff & I was made to feel really special. Cannot wait to return. Please visit Shibden Mill if you haven’t already done so, you won’t be disappointed.

Gorgeous meal. Shared a starter of duck liver pate which was super smooth and delicious. My partner had the roast beef dinner and I had the pork chop with black pudding mash. Both were absolutely beautiful. A fantastic Spanish red that I’d never tried before, which was also fab. Great service as always & beautiful cosy surroundings.

An unexpected 5 star experience. We spent a beautiful afternoon eating an unbelievably good tasting menu in a chocolate box setting with a knowledgeable friendly team. Fantastic value, every course was superb- already planning a group trip back!
