"The good: the view of Haifa bay, the swimming pool, and the generous breakfast buffet. The bad: poor attitude: they did not let a non-dining mother to join the family on Saturday night dinner without paying full (and very high) price- which forced us to look for food somewhere else; the foul smell (sewerage) at the lobby; we got stuck outside our room 5 (!) times due to lock failure; room service came an hour late, and only after repeated calls. No parking and no help with luggage or baby stroller. To finalize the poor experience they tried to charge me twice for a meal. Stay away."

"Received a wonderful welcome from Allah with the biggest smile. Hotel is spotless and clean. Room was spacious, small bathroom with good shower. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Hot drinks and fridge in the room and a great coffee machine in reception. Hot and cold drinking water in reception too with a selection of teas and a fresh cake! Continental breakfast was limited but plentiful with cereals, bread and toast, boiled eggs, cheese, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers and cakes. Spacious outdoor area to relax. Outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach which just a very short walk from the hotel. All staff were friendly. We highly recommend."

"The place was booked for us as a temporary residency while we got our own apartment in the city. People at Reception are usually OK, having a few exceptions whom should not be dealing with passengers. Reception is usually accommodating when requested to replace towels or provide toilet paper. There is a laundry area with free detergent and reasonable prices for using the machines. On the negative side; rooms are small, cleaning is done once a week; twice at most if you really insist on it. TV does not work, it has no antenna nor cable service. Telephone is only one way to Reception, it does not receive calls nor allows for placing calls, even locally. The worst however is the abundance of cockroaches that plagued my room. They crawled everywhere, even on your table! The Hotel"s personnel are oblivious to the problem, minimizing it and placing the blame on us ("you left your window open", "they fly through the window"). It is worthwhile mentioning that the room was located in the 5th floor (which, in America, would have been the 6th floor). The place is very close to the port, loud noise even at night, surrounded by empty stores and derelict buildings. I would never recommend this Apartment Hotel to anybody."

"The atmosphere is generally good and the place is close to the center of life in Haifa, but the pillows are uncomfortable and there was a sound like water drip all night, and the door couldn't be closed from inside."
